Good day, gentlemen.

I have a big problem.
Great Generals spawn non-stop.

I have only JFD and Tomatekh kinda mods.

What can cause this damn bug? Any clues?:isaac:

Absolutely love the use of Shogun 2 music
Martin 16. juli 2023 kl. 12:51
This civ starts with 30 policies from the start of the game. Besides that a good design.
dblairfl 13. aug. 2021 kl. 7:31
I'm assuming this is a dead mod? Doesn't show up in the select screen, and all the solutions below no longer work.
Nobleman 23. apr. 2021 kl. 5:31
Leader not showing up in leader selection menu pls help
Utahraptor 8. mar. 2021 kl. 18:30
I do not get the extra culture and production form golden ages, but I do gain the Extra XP. Also I earn more social policies for some reason.
anothernick1996 23. mar. 2020 kl. 17:57
I'm not getting a bonus to culture and production during golden ages. Aside from the standard one. I do get the +15 xp though.

Also, the Mikasa doesn't give any golden age points if it only takes 1 turn to produce. Is this intentional?

i have solved the problem by restarting the computer and resubscribing the mod. It took me a whole night to solve it
Benjamin 24. dec. 2019 kl. 14:54
it´s weird, all the other JFD's Civilisations work well on my computer besides this one. I downloaded it and I have chosen it in the mod menu, but I don´t see the leader if when I am setting a new game. Even weirder, if I play another civ with this mod on, I can actually spawn the uu of this mod using IGE. So sad I can´t play this mod, it looks quiet interesting.
Romancia 8. dec. 2019 kl. 7:51
Unsubscribing and then resubscribing to the mod helped for me, at least.
Romancia 8. dec. 2019 kl. 7:43
Leader not showing up in Leader selection menu for me as well. Is this fixable?
j2deedee 10. nov. 2019 kl. 10:23

LegoStego 15. nov. 2018 kl. 11:40

sw 4. okt. 2018 kl. 5:09

@ink check the Database.log file in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Logs. Most likely, a mod conflict of some sort.
Inky 26. maj 2018 kl. 14:42
For some reason it isn't detecting Events and Decisions, had a look in the settings and mod support files and can't seem to find anything wrong though?

All in favor of petitioning Firaxis to correct Japan with a new ability or with Meiji, say "I." I.

CatnamedMittens 8. feb. 2016 kl. 13:50
Underrated Japanese ruler.
JFD  [ophavsmand] 16. jan. 2016 kl. 14:55
@pabloflv That is the point, in order to push you to expend the Daimyo for its Golden Ages - i.e. to initiate the Meiji Restoration.
pabloflv 16. jan. 2016 kl. 8:56
Well it seems the Daimyo does give production bonuses to melee units. Literally melee, so nothing above musketman gets the bonus, which means its special ability is pretty useless after renaissance, could you please change it so that it gives all melee units (gun units included) a bonus?
pabloflv 14. jan. 2016 kl. 18:54
I can't get the Daimyo bonus on cities, when I place one inside a city the icon indicating bonus xp and prod for melee units appears but the units themselves have no extra xp or special production bonuses when being created
Gumpy 11. jan. 2016 kl. 23:48
@KaijuJaegar19 I think modern, since it replaces the battleship.
kMC 8. jan. 2016 kl. 15:43
This is one of the coolest civs ive seen
Spaceman27 1. nov. 2015 kl. 13:16
how early is the mikasa ? Is it still in the modern era or is it in the industrial era ?
Handlebard 10. sep. 2015 kl. 5:36
Hope get some good publicity/more downloads with Marbozir starting a youtube LP.
Fenragon 7. sep. 2015 kl. 7:50
Loads of fun to use, the Daimyo integrates flawlessly with the UA. The Mikasa is powerful and fun to use!
spazzrights 30. juli 2015 kl. 16:46
Does this work with YNAEMP?
Mojave Neon 30. juli 2015 kl. 1:38
I really loved this one. All of the uniques synergize so well. Plus, the daimyo is good enough that even if you only got one or two over the course of the game, they still provide great value overall. This civ is pretty much flawless.
Anonsen 10. juli 2015 kl. 7:05
Maybe even have it upgrade to the Yamato from Tojo mod?
Anonsen 10. juli 2015 kl. 7:05
Would it be possible to give the Mikasa an upgrade option to battleship? Find the unti to be complety useless when playing with the advance air/sea/land unit mod as the improved battleship later on is so OP.
Tutter10 7. juli 2015 kl. 11:57
It is brilliant this! The art and colour scheme is absolutely beautiful! I've always wondered why they never have an Emperor leading Japan!
Venusaisha 30. maj 2015 kl. 19:56
am gonna get all the japan 8)
t.oki 22. maj 2015 kl. 5:30
Loving this mod. Only thing is the custom music doesn't seem to loop for whatever reason. But other than that it's fantastic!
A Confused Pikachu 7. maj 2015 kl. 22:33
@JFD

Hey JFD, what if you brought the decision making up one notch? During the Meiji Revolution, Japan was split into the Meiji Reformers and the old bakufu. What if Daimyos grant a certain amount of culture/gold and players are expected to choose, when they play. Do you undercut Daimyos to bring about the golden age, or keep Daimyos for the anti-reformist bloom/gold/stability?
Prime Edgemaster 2. maj 2015 kl. 19:10
Awesome, could you make King Naresuan of Ayutthaya Kingdom(Siam), Basil II of Byzantine Empire, Leonidas(Sparta)?
JFD  [ophavsmand] 1. maj 2015 kl. 17:19
@Negrostrike The Daimyo is intentional. The idea is that, as the player, you simulate the Meiji Restoration yourself, undercutting your Daimyo by expending them for Golden Ages.
negostrike 1. maj 2015 kl. 16:10
Looks very promising, but it doesn't make much sense having the daimyo as UU since Emperor Meiji abolished the samurai. I don't mind much though. Thanks for your work.
Diamonikon 30. apr. 2015 kl. 6:57
I dont get it..the mod shows up yeah, but ingame when I am in teh choose your civ screen, the none of the JDF civ's show
