@ASOM30 should work fine without it👍🖖. The asset predate AD, the only changes i made if i remember correctly was that i added emissive textures textures.

With the new DLC Sunset Harbor, they touched something with garbage, but i don't have the DLC to know what's going on there.

@Bullett: My city is massive, ranging in the 200k across several districts. Normally it wouldn't be a problem for, say, a district of 25k, but these traverse the whole city (outside it's district limits) and it will take quite some time before it returns. The Atomizer used to spawn it's maximum trucks out before something changed, which might be the city limits. But like Sollaro said - I didn't knew that there are limits to them as well.

Yeah my city is massive I have found that I can only use so many of your asset throughout the city. Once I deleted 5 or so and replace old ones that had stopped working the others started working again. Did not know there was a game limit. Thanks for the reply!

@Sollaro, Hey there, I'm not sure why would they be broken. My assets do not use custom code, they only modify values from within the game editor.

-Are all the 15 Atomizers only using 2 garbage trucks each?
-How big is your city? You might be pushing the game engine hardcoded limits.

@Deaniël L. R. Shaw: as mentioned above, code should not have changed, how big are your cities? are you pushing the limits of the game?

Are you guys using mods that modify the garbage collection system?

Here is a picture of one of four atomizers in my 40k city, I have 4 of them, and their garbage truck usage varies from 17- 25. Image [i.imgur.com]

PD: I personally don't use many mods, mostly visual. I try to keep it very vanilla.

Asset is broken, sometimes it puts out trucks other time it does not. Also if you get more than say 15 on a map the new ones dont ever turn on or active like there is an item cap on the number being used on the map.

Hello, I'm not sure if there is an solution to this, but for a month or so, the Atomizer has only putting out 2 trucks out of the total granted. Any ideas on resolving this?

@NiKE hey man, no worries all is forgiven, I just reacted to the issue at hand, as this has happened many times before. But I will make sure to change the Asset names in the workshop from ST to Spectra, should have been like that from the start!

My apologies - I shared the asset to be able to retrieve it on my MAC under a different user name - I could not find it when searching for it, the ST in the name throws the search off. I did not realize it would make it available for all and sundry - it has been removed since. Sorry for this Bullet.

Sorry guys, I caused a mess the yesterday after updating the asset, it was late and i was tired. I did change the name of the asset in the wrong place :3 ... but... I managed to recover the old file today,so I checked the name and reverted the name to its original "ST Garbage Atomizer [Garbage]" . Im am really sorry to have caused this little mess, complete oversight by my tired eyes. If you had the problem and reploped, but can load you save file before the mess do so, if not.... then... well youve got to replop them back... T_T but at least it won't mess all your other files *hides behind a rock* "

Again they're gone, will have to re-replop. I think you re-renamed it. Hopefully no more name changes in the future :)

We have to put them all back.

I had to replop them all. I was so confused as to why my city suddenly had such a big garbage problem! Thankfully, my city is pretty rich, so replacing a dozen missing garbage facilities was no big deal, once I got over the confusion!

@r3load3d: Yes i think i did change the name on the asset inside the editor, my bad i might have gotten confused there and caused all the problem T_T, i will keep an extra vigilant eye for the next update to not mess it up :)

@bullettMAGNETT: It seems like you changed the name during the update. You should keep it the same, otherwise already plopped versions will disappear from savegames because the asset can't be found anymore.

Was wondering why suddenly I started getting a city-wide garbage issue and found that all my atomizers are GONE. 99% something to do with the update, otherwise the coincidence is incredible.

@Östev: not found where? Asset Manager? if so, the name is not "garbage atomizer" is "Spectra Atomizer" :)
