@bullfrog, Yes, that's perfect. The unusual platforming in the solution is supposed to be similar to the mechanics of Mirror's Edge, so it's not the most logical Portal puzzle. Thanks for playing my maps.

Great puzzle with a good intro level. I wasn’t sure if I did it by the intended method, but could not think of anything else and now, having read your reply to @Nobody No-One’s question, I’m now more hopeful that this is the intended method ?

@Nobody No-One, yes that's intended. Thanks for playing.

Nice little puzzle. I think I may have attempted, without success, to solve this back when it was first released. I decided to try it again today for some reason and I solved it pretty quickly (not sure if 100% intended – is jumping from the cube onto the railing of the uppermost area, and then from the railing down into the area with the exit door part of the solution?). Nice aesthetics, although it was a bit disconcerting not to be able to place portals on surfaces that were white. Thumbs up.

@SevenSilhouette, Thanks for uploading your blind run, I haven't looked at this one in a while so it was interesting to see it again. I think your method to get the cube up to the top wasn't intended but I'm not even entirely sure what the intended solution was.

Blind run. Had a few derp moments here and there. https://youtu.be/DarHwFJle9U

The number of portal surfaces does not matter at all. This is a good puzzle and I liked it. Well done

Nice work; I think there is much lighting refering to seeing the fizzlers on the stairs: I almost thought they were not there (invisible or something); nice use of the opaque glass; the puzzle is good and it took a few minutes to get the exit portal. Thumbs up.

@TCJ, thanks for the video. Well done, not quite intended but close to it. Props given ;)

@| \_/ (), I'm not sure that 'more portalable surfaces = better puzzle' is true, but in this case I was aiming for a particular visual style, sorry about your expectations. Yep, I know about the competition, I doubt I have any chance of winning so it doesn't particularly matter. The 'glass' could be opaque on both sides to 'better' fulfil the requirements, but I like visibilty.

Is it good that the puzzle is average? Making it hard often means some people can't solve it, and too easy makes it boring.

@GBMusicMaser, thanks for playing.

Very nice puzzle! I struggled for a while because I had seen a playthrough (toncica's?) and you updated since then, so I really had to work for it. Cool map--thumbs up!

Nice visuals. Still, all those white surfaces and none of them is portalable? That was a bit of a letdown, because when I saw the thumbnail I thought portals can be placed on them and usually:

more portalable surfaces = better buzzle

About the challenge: quaternary said it - a one-way-transperant glass is quite a cheap way to fulfill the competition rules.

And the puzzle - nothing much to say - a normal test, not very challenging, not too easy, nothing confuzing etc.

I agree with the comments below! Great looking map/puzzle. I hope the video was helpful in some way :p2cube:

That is one cheap way of making a blind mechanic haha. Great puzzle nonetheless.

This is amazing!

@Yuuubi, it does require climbing on the cube , air strafing is not required in the intended solution.

@Innocentive, haha thanks.
Yuuubi 27 MAR 2015 a las 2:06
I loved the design, it was new to me :) I have a solution involving air strafing and climbing on a cube , is that the intended one ? :p2blue:
Innocentive 27 MAR 2015 a las 1:13
Man, it took me forever to get the cube to the first floor!!! Damn you for adding that glass ;)

I like the style a lot! And I'd say you built the slickest fizzler emitters in the entire Workshop.

Added a (custom) soundscape for effect. Nice work :p2cube:
I'd say medium for the difficulty (meduim-hard for the beginners)

Enjoyed the puzzle. Felt like in a swimming pool, but all elements suit well together :p

Strangely designed but works well :)
