Awesome ship man! Idownloaded all your ships because I thought they were all fantastic. Even tried pasting the Battleship into my multiplyer server. Pity my frames dropped though. Would have been my home, lol. My question is this... Do you have any scripts you can recommend and/or script ideas to put into your ships?

bare in mind the engine pods are independant thrusters set to maximum, so you need to shut those down before exiting the cockpit otherwise your ship will continue to accelerate.

and sit tight folks. theirs a MK II Verson of this ship on its way it had to be redesigned to make planet landings capable. and the new variant of this ship can do so. Easily.

Love the ship, Built this ship from a blueprint on my Survival server, However. whenever i leave the cockpit of the ship, it starts to accelerate, and i cant figure out why

@ Underdog, wait till you see what's next down my pipe, i'm working on two ships right now (One is my pvp capital ship i'm declassifying (removing the scripts and configuring the systems to be more public friendly)) and the other a utility ship. just stay tuned folks, i'm working on big things., things you will enjoy but thanks for the comments., it really makes me want to release more to you all.

their are landing gear that lock the engine assemblies into place and keep the ship togather while the ship is maneuvering, the method i use and program into the timer block phases is so: Buttion trigger>turn rotor on, release landing gear, turn first timer off (spamproof)>rotate engine>lock landing gear, shut off rotor, turn rotor off, turn phase 1 back on. this is repeatable and for the vertical time you just need to time the rotation of the engines and turn the landing gear on before it reaches the end of the cycle

So i am having trouble getting to VTOL rotor systems to work, it is like it can't rotate...could you perhaps post a video or image of your controls with instructions...I swear I am just being an idiot with this but rotors have always been bonkers around me.

Found the problem. I had too many blueprints, when I deleted some of them, it showed up.

I've tried to force steam to send me the files via verification, but nothing happened. Other mods that I've downloaded that aren't blueprints got in, but only the blueprint for ships aren't showing up.

mmm, it should be there, its how most starship blueprints from the workshop load up it should update your blueprints after you load it (sometimes it takes a few seconds). It might be an issue with your client it might not be synching up with your steam cloud

Odd... I can't find anything with steam icon in my blueprint. I subscribed it a few weeks ago. It should've shown up, I'm not sure why.

it should show up in your blueprints when you subscribe to it (restart required after subscribing so your steam cloud can synch up) it should have a tiny steam icon beside it in your blueprints saying its a subscribed item.

hmmm. a bug i'm having a problem replicating, but alright. if that's the case paste it into a creative world exit out of the world, go into the worlds settings and hit "reset ownerships" then enter the world again, and you should be able to place the whole ship under your control. after you do take a copy of it and save the blueprint that should fix the issue

if you are pasting it into a survival world through creative, before you set it to survival make sure you go into the ship and set your ownership to you bro otherwise it will remain neutral

huh., must be a new bug with the projectors, ill see about uploading the engine pods as stand alone blueprints then letting you guys maneuver them into place and attatch them manually, ill also science it later to see what the deal is. i wont be suprised if this new patch borked the projectors

hey valt. good news is. if you checked the change notes, the night of the oxygen release i upgraded it with those systems. its already good to go :p and our ship classes are a tad bigger thain most, but compared to my other ship options this is a corvette

and I assure you koro, whatever history you had with your rl counterpart. i doubt theirs any afilliation :p (In world company)

Very nice sir. But I wouldn't call it a corvette, more frigate sized I think.

Its very nice to see how you have made such an interesting interior using only stock blocks. It seems to be the use of colour that makes the difference, seems to have lots of subtly varied shading.

Pressurisation compatible, or is it older than that?

mmm... it shouldnt be doing that o.o it should always default to nobody ownership when pasted and when constructed in survival it should pass ownership immediatly to you as you built the part.

you do however have to claim the ship if pasted in creative before setting your gamemode to survival.

None. this ship is Universally compatable as it's straight vanilla. I usually leave it to the ships user to mod the ship.

as much as i'd love to say it's star trek inspired it isnt :p i actually loosly began developing it as a Lisset from Warframe but evolved it to its current design now, that's why it has its cobra shaped nose

In creative mode,once you subscribe you can use CTRL + B to open blueprints, you select the ship from there, hit okay and hit CTRL + V and then you can paste it

In Survival Mode/Exploration You need to build a projector which you can then assign the blueprint to the projector which will give you a ghost image of the ship that you can weld into existince (pending you have the appropriate parts for each block)

thanks again guys, its a feel good knowing i'm going in the right direction. I have considered using mods however as it stands now. i firmly belive all my ships should be universally compatable. as they are not eye candy. they are functional machines meant to be deployed onto servers and then players can mod them according to what the server has availible. I gave it some thought and maybe in the near future i will create two separate variations of the same ship. one modded, one straight vanilla., Some food for thought i suppose.

the thought certainly crossed my mind for a dedicated mining vessel (Perhaps a drone frigate modified for mining drones) the big ship acting as the command and control for the various drones and its space exlusivly built for ore prossessing. I do have the gears spinning about a MCV for planetside deployment now that planets are comming down the pipe but yeah i think that will be my next shift, moving away from pure militairy and shifting towards utility
