What Does TimeScale Even Do?

And if you want to add more to this addon, here's a couple ideas, make it so you can change the direction of gravity, left, right, front, back, up, and down. And have it so you can make the effects apply to specific players.
TheMongooseMonke 17.3.2023 klo 13.34

Goggins.flp (Funny lol poop) 16.1.2020 klo 15.37
you have to reload the map after changing sv_gravity to make it affect all props
Luscious Lasagna 6.1.2020 klo 11.32
@MysteryPancake

But sv_gravity only works on players. Props and ragdolls remain unaffected, and I'm bashing my head against the wall trying to figure out how to edit gravity for EVERYTHING.

The server gravity changes multiple times each second. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
MysteryPancake  [tekijä] 22.4.2019 klo 23.40
The only way to do that is to change sv_gravity unfortunately
IntellectualPotato 17.4.2019 klo 2.29
is it possible for this to give low gravity to props/ragdolls?
instead of no gravity at all

I haven't worked on this addon for ages, but I think this was impossible last time I tried to do it. I don't there was a way for the game to do that sort of thing.

does it work with players?
Colonel Dickbutt 22.11.2016 klo 17.31
Oh, wait, the addon Directional Gravity. That does use the SetGravity vectors, but this EnvOrg tool seems to give a user much finer, precise control, which is nice.
Colonel Dickbutt 22.11.2016 klo 17.27
Do you mean the Environment Organiser tool? I hadn't heard about this one before now, so thanks for pointing it out to me.
Colonel Dickbutt 21.11.2016 klo 18.28
Yeah, it's unfortunate. Upon further reading, SetGravity only appears to apply for players and NPCs, rather than props and ragdolls. Thanks for testing it out, though, I appreciate it.
Although, there is physenv.SetGravity (https://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/physenv/SetGravity) which appears to apply to physics objects. I'm curious to see if that would have any affect.
Colonel Dickbutt 14.11.2016 klo 12.10
Fair enough. It'd be amazing to see it added to your Gravity Tool, but I can't make you, of course, especially if it is a hassle.

Well, guess I'll start learning more than the most basic Lua. Maybe in a few months I'll have some semblance of a tool, or something.
Colonel Dickbutt 13.11.2016 klo 18.41
Is it possible with GMod to edit the gravity for props variably? As in, not just turn the gravity on or off, but adjust its value?
I know this tool itself doesn't have the capability, I was just wondering if that's something which is possible using any method.
Oh Phi... 8.7.2016 klo 16.18
Dosent the Physical Properties tool already have this?
Sir Charizard 10.3.2016 klo 3.58
@MPan Didnt change anything
Sir Charizard 10.3.2016 klo 3.35
@MPan Actually i haven't tried uninstalling and then checking, but I doubt its this mod. I'll give it a go and say how it goes.
Sir Charizard 9.3.2016 klo 4.26
I had a mod before that made it where ragdolls would fade automatically, and now, i cant delete them or select them. So turns out that they have an entirely different "ragdoll" that isn't effected. The normal ones are though because i spawned them normally. This is strange, any help?
Dr. Dammit 27.2.2016 klo 6.39
Erm, you do know you can disable specific props' gravity already, right?
WaffleTime 26.1.2016 klo 9.07
If you hold C(Context menu) on your keyboard on most stuff it says Gravity un check that boom no gravity
Raesha 12.4.2015 klo 5.44
It's ok.
Raesha 12.4.2015 klo 5.37
Nope, not that. And the admin settings spazz out, too.
And I'm on singleplayer.
Raesha 12.4.2015 klo 5.30
Yeah, one of the addons that might do that is the Slow-mo mod. I'll uninstall that and see.
Raesha 12.4.2015 klo 4.27
http://youtu.be/5jUjIohM8k0 Here is a video to what is happening.
Also, it is just those two sliders in your mod.
Raesha 11.4.2015 klo 10.24
erm, bug. When I try to move the sliders in the menu. the start spazzing out and gravity starts going CRAY CRAY.

(mind, it looks cool tho :3)
