Battle helmet and battle spear disapearing when you craft them, but still uses the materials.

btw, I didn't try with Wigfrid yet, maybe you should update the mod, some people are complainign the battle spear is disapearing (as a bug)

It even happens if you spawn a battle helm or or spear with a console command. I think it's just built into the game to check whether you're actually Wigfrid and remove the item if you're not. Very disappointing.

Don't try to craft the battle helm and spear like EvantyWelwyn commented below, it dissapears but still uses up the materials.

Would love a fix or explanation why that is happening. Possible if you don't have Winfred unlocked yet?

Anyway, I added monster meat to the easy and normal recipes, so it makes more sense.

For those who want the tentacle spike to have tentacle spots on the recipe, the reason I don't do it is because in order to get tentacle spots you have to kill tentacles for a 20% drop chance.

Since the tentacle spike has a 50% drop chance from the same monster, it's way easier to get the actual item than the ingredient for that item.

Also killing the big tentacle has a 40% chance for tentacle spots but the tentacle spike is still 50% chance.

The tentacle spike should atleast have tentacle spots with the board. So it atleast looks like it.

Dessicated Tentacle is a trinket you can get from digging up a grave. It does nothing aside from being able to be traded to the pig king.

What is a disected tentacle? Been playing the game for years and never heard of it.

Also, tentacle spike would make more sense to have a hound tooth, bee stinger, rope, and a board maybe?

Just a suggestion...Maybe change the Board for Tentacle Spike into a Dissected Tentacle?

Although I agree with most of these recipes (Hell, why didn't the tentacle spike have one in the first place?), I think the Tam o' Shanter should be left alone. It's basically the best headwear to wear in autumn and most of the time in Winter (with the biggest sanity regen in the game and an insulation factor equal to the winter hat), and should be reserved as a rare-ish reward for killing MacTusk (or at least make the recipe include a walrus tusk, considering any more than 1 tends to be completely useless once you've made a walking cane).

And how do i know what difficulty I am on?

Slurper pelt is actually easier to craft on hard for me than it is on normal since I usually play wickerbottom which lets me spawn tentacle spots
