Bulimba Creek is a river itself in this map. Height Map is way off, especially around Kangaroo Point.

Well, I love this map, it's probably my favourite of all the user-made maps so far. (Full disclosure: I'm not an Aussie and have no idea how close this is to the real Brisbane, so perhaps that makes it easier for me to just get on with it). :D

I built an absolutely wicked city on this bugger over a couple of months, but I had a lot of trouble with the river, and sewage flowingback upstream and all kinds of whacky biz with the water works. It was flipping frustrating, but part of the struggle, so, eh. Brilliant map though. I'm starting a new one again tonight. Goes great with first-person mods, because there's a really nice variety of heights here. Great work Mannan, you scored a winner here mate. :)

(which, fyi, is one of the most complete in the world ) i have been to brisbane , a city it is not just abig coastal town thje rail and public transport system are shocking , i would compare brisbanes public transport to india`s rail, thier are only 2 cities in Australia that actually look like they have a bit of planning and brisbane is far from either of the 2 , on par with sydney as far design goes should bulldoze both and start again

As mentioned before, this could use a bit of work before making it 100% possible to remake Brisbane's transport network (which, fyi, is one of the most complete in the world and therefore should be fun to remake) but most of those problems are really due to Skylines and/or scaling.

Otherwise, this will be fun to make, as a resident of the city.

This Map is ok its a ok rendtion of brisbane its not too Google Maps carbon copy it needs alot more touch ups here and there such as kangaroo point and the cliffs along KP and Fortiutde Valley, Story Bridge can't ba double bridge highway, but for a highway conneciton its the River side Expressway otherwise know as the Pac Motorway running along the riverside on the othersiede of Southbank should be the duel highway. Norman creek is bit different, but yeah with a bit of time and some work this map has potiental for being the a ridgy didge replica of Brissy you might even be able to fit Mt Coo-tha and Brisbane Airport into the Map

It looks great, but the highways aren't connected right. They change direction in the middle of them in several places.

Awesome thanks waslooking at trying the Logan /Gold Coast region but still working my way around the simle parts of the game

I can't seem to get any people to travel into my city, the houses,businesses and industry builts but not cars/people arrive.

Also I believe the river water is running in the wrong direction :)

imho, if you have to change the scale and you don't get significant benefits, don't bother; make two maps instead.

Thanks guys, it's a work in progress, early beta. I wanted to go out to the bay and across to Mt Cootha, but if I do that the map isn't big enough. I can scale it all down but I can't scale the river any smaller because the ships need that much width. Something to consider, thanks for the suggestions and encouragement.

Wasnt expecting a map of this obscure city so early one. Major capitals, sure, but cool! Doesnt extend as far as the bay, as id hope, but still good
