Why are Gardevoir's always made female, it's a 50/50 gender difrence

@Sirnight I'd appreciate it if you made an alt character of Gardevoir, with their in-game appearance being more based on the thumbnail character artwork's version, with the changes mainly focused on matching the thumbnail Gardevoir's eyes. I got this mod expecting Gardevoir to have Anime-esque eyes, but nope! Normal DST eyes. I think Gardevoir should have another variant, in a similar vein to the Lucario mod's Lucario & Shiny Lucario as separate characters for each gameplay variant (cool/cute), with the alt version having an appearance that's more accurate to the source material (i.e. the Pokemon games & anime).

Come to think of it, how DOES one make alternate skins?
I would gladly make some custom skins for certain characters I play as if I knew how to make mod specific skins and be able to change between them.

I have some criticism, for a Psychic type; wouldn't Gardevoir have much higher sanity? Maybe in exchange for this she has lower health and hunger? Or maybe she takes more damage from shadow creatures since they're basically ghost types.

Another note, more of a request really, what about a quick reskin like a shiny form?

Other then that, I'm really Impressed. Theres only one other Pokémon mod here. Real shame too. Be amazing if someone made a pet mod of Pikachu or Magikarp.

@Lil Glaceon (Kitty) I believe this is what I used http://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/46849-tutorial-using-extended-sample-character-template/ It took me a VERY long time, to figure out what I was doing cause I wanted to do a good job, and I looked through many tutorials. But I know for a fact I used the mod in this tutorial to make my character, and this one does seem very familiar so give it a go!

@Ionic tbh with you I havn't really done my best to make sure this mod is up to date and I feel bad for doing so. Also I appreciate keeping the changes private and also asking first. So yeah, go for it :) I think the original here has served its life and your additions would make it something fresh. From feedback i've got here i'm sure people are going to like it having abilities!

Hello! A long time ago (far enough back that I've noted it being "The Embrace Pokemon" by Meowmans), I forked this character mod for private use, and added abilities to inspire a co-operative playstyle. I've recently implemented a new mechanic I don't think has been seen before on the workshop, and would like to release it publicly.

Could you please let me know how you feel about re-using your art assets (and most of the dialogue which I've not really touched), and whether or not I could have your permission to release this edited version of this character? Credit would of course be attributed appropriately.

give her an actual Sentences afterall pokemons can be understood and she would be beatifull with it also good ideas about sanity/slight health aura regen you could make her into lovable support also great drawing of her

Regarding your consideration for the sanity regen - a great idea, but perhaps make it an aura? Gardevoir is a selfess creature and I would imagine it would induce a serene feeling with friends - by making friends regain sanity, it fits the character, perhaps? Just an idea.

I love this mod but could you make a single player version?

I don't think it would be annoying, but if you do think it would be, then add the ability to disable it.

You then have the problem oh hearing "Gardevoir" every minute for as long as youre playing. It would be cool for a litle while and then become Incredibly annoying.

Just get a sound file of a Gardevoir saying Gardevoir and set it as all of the voices for her, that's what pokemon do.

It is incredibly hard to get pupils to look right throughout all the animations and they would have ruined it, therefor I left it without. This is the first thing ive ever done like this as ive said. So i'm not a pro :P
