That is correct, L4D2 has only one reload animation for the shotguns which is you always recocking the weapon, still strange not to have two animations since there is for the pistols but I guess that was a compromise since L4D1 didn't have two animations for the pistols only the one as the cocking animation was sadly cut but still can be seen via glitches or mods.

@Phoenix Rose I think the reason for the lack of an empty reload animation is that the coding doesn't exist in l4d2 and would have to be added as a script.
I'm not a modder or coder but this seems logical.

define "old animations" cause if we are talking about when L4D1 launched global, then you messed up on this.

if i remember correctly. the L4D1 auto shotgun had an EMPTY reload animation... this one does not.

may i ask why? i still love this animation, but I'm just curious as to why the empty reload animation is the exact same as the none empty reload. were there bugs?

Okay, nevermind. It was working all along. I just thought the shotgun animation was different from what I remembered.

For some reason, it's not working for me. Even with it on, it just shows the lame l4d2 auto shotgun animations.

There is not a reanimated autoshotgun that doesn't reskin the weapon, this is the only one out there, thanks enough.

It was more out of objection than laziness. A few folks in the community had done their own fixes for the hunting rifle's set before I had started this work, and I found the version I compiled looked almost the same as theirs; The public source files available to the hunting rifle are near-identicle to the L4D1 version I have, albiet with a different bone list.

I felt as a result it was okay to skip it. You just gotta know where the find the work others have done.

@[LFPT] RedBlaw / Luca theuaredead already did that and i think he did because Lt. Rocky is too lazy to notice the difference between l4d1's hunting rifle animations and l4d2's hunting rifle animations
