@Tumor thank you so much friend :)
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 29. sep. kl. 5:38
yeah, they can use it, i'm cool.

sorry Imperator, but i'm retired from CK2 modding. That last update was just pushing out a really bad bug that was crazy easy to fix, plus a couple of random bits that were never released before I quit.

Anyone who wants to is free to fork the project on github and start up a continuation project.
Hierophántēs 28. sep. kl. 12:59
Hello @Tumor, would you be willing to share mod files with another mod team? Specifically the Faerun-Forgotten Realms team? I'm sure some of the brilliant work in this mod could be repurposed for that one, especially on the graphics side of things. Thanks :)
Imperator of Rome 18. aug. kl. 11:55
I hope you're able to get a major update out soon. And remember my earlier suggestion: If you've completed the Alexander's Bloodline event chain and gotten the bloodline, you also get the Alexander's Skull and Alexander's Armor artifacts, and are able to have them active and equipped, regardless if your ruler is a Hellenic Pagan or not.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 7. aug. kl. 18:09
Uh... I think it causes some prestige loss, an opinion malus with vassals, and allows you to abdicate the throne. But if you abdicate that way your five most powerful vassals get a claim on your highest title. A Strong claim that can't be inherited, if I remember rightly.
gwennetts 30. juli kl. 10:07
What does "unfit gaelic king" do?
ChipopHQ 22. juli kl. 7:50
Those were my suggestion, if you don't feel like you want to return to modding, then someone else could make those suggestions.
ChipopHQ 21. juli kl. 23:35
Like for example, Yazidi for Kurdish, Zamolxism for Romanians/Vlach, Armenian Paganism, Georgian Paganism, Ashurism for Mesopotamians, and finally Arabian Paganism. Oh, and is it possible for some of the vanilla pagan religions like Baltic, Slavic and Finnic use their own Coat of Arms designs instead of reusing the Germanic ones?
ChipopHQ 21. juli kl. 23:01
Is it possible to add more pagan religions to the game? And can there be a compatibility patch between this mod and A.D. 633: Rise of Islam which adds the Cushtic Pagan religion?
OnO 28. juni kl. 17:28
Brother, I was 16-17 when this mod first came out. To redownload CK2 and be able to play it again was awesome. Thanks for it :) Just my appreciation.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 15. maj kl. 4:20
1) yes, i had 2 or 3 other ideas.
2a) You can also convert by right-clicking the shield of a holy site, if you own it, and choosing the right decision.
2b) You don't have to be Sunni. Anyone On Hajj OR on a Pilgrimage to the middle east can get that event.
3) 0.47.0 Morrigan was an update for a critical bug that took me about 5 seconds to fix, not an indication of my return to modding.
Nuggz 10. maj kl. 15:45
i mean i dont wanna be THAT GUY but have u considered other methods to revive Khemetism besides being sunni and getting lost during the Hajj?
Imperator of Rome 16. mar. kl. 11:53
A suggestion: Make it so that characters who are connected to/forged the Bloodline of Alexander can wear Alexander's Armor and have his skull active.
Imperator of Rome 2. feb. kl. 12:14
Fantastic news!
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. kl. 10:55
Sorry it took me so long to get around to it. First update in nearly 4 years, 0.47.0 Morrigan.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2024 kl. 11:05
It seems unlikely I'll be able to recover my github account. Unfortunate, to be sure, but it won't prevent me from fixing the bug on Steam.

There's not much you can do to fix it for yourself without switching to a manually downloaded and installed version of the mod. You could do that, but it might be a hassle for you.

The fix *is* very simple, however. In the tailteann event file (the files are all just text) change

namespace = ancrel
to
namespace = celtic
Dr. Tryhard 8. dec. 2024 kl. 1:30
Thank you, Tumor. Hope you can recover your github account, and can provide a fix for it. Anything I can do on my end to fix it?
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2024 kl. 20:29
There's a bug in the event file, don't really know how I missed it for all those years. If I can recover my github account i'll try to get a fix out.
Dr. Tryhard 7. dec. 2024 kl. 9:23
Hello Tumor. What is causing my game to fire this Tailteann games event constantly? At the start of the game, and after a war, for example. Debug mode shows that this event's ID is 0.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 22. aug. 2024 kl. 14:32
Reformation is the same for all pagan religions. I don't remember exactly, because I haven't played the game in ages, but I think it's 3 of the holy sites and a bunch of piety.

I think it's a button on your religion window or something.

If you mean how to convert? Own the Holy Fury DLC, own a Druidic holy site, and right click the coat of arms. There should be a convert decision. There's also some random events that can let you convert if you're a Celtic culture.
Unofficial_Computer 21. aug. 2024 kl. 10:29
How do you form Druidic? It doesn't say on the forum and the wiki page is a 404.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 20. aug. 2024 kl. 17:02
It's a heresy of Reformed Druidism, so you'll need to reform druidism then do whatever you would do to convert to any other rare heresy. The community is full of tips on those.
Unofficial_Computer 20. aug. 2024 kl. 7:38
How do I actually become a British Pagan?
The religion doesn't appear in the pagan list in the religion section of the custom leader maker.
Valarian of Naples 5. mar. 2024 kl. 20:25
Thank you!
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 5. mar. 2024 kl. 20:24
Sorry, i'm not interested in doing CK2 modding anymore, but you're very welcome to the egyptian code from ARR.

You can find the code on github (link near the bottom of the mod description. Feel free to use any ideas still floating around in the issues, just throw me some credit.
Valarian of Naples 5. mar. 2024 kl. 18:50
Hey, Tumor! I'm planning an overhaul mod for East and North Africa, and I was wondering if you would allow me to use your Egyptian pagan religions? And if you're interested, I would like to invite you to join a development team.
duff416 1. mar. 2024 kl. 23:57
Never remove the let's get pagan button, idc if you won't support it but it's so fun to mess around with
gwennetts 16. jan. 2024 kl. 18:12
Thanks.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 16. jan. 2024 kl. 15:51
yeah, looks like i spelled it... differently, we'll say.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 16. jan. 2024 kl. 15:51
britannic_pagan?
gwennetts 15. jan. 2024 kl. 5:46
ok but cheats work for the other ones, like if i do the religion command for atenic it works: religion atenic_pagan
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 14. jan. 2024 kl. 13:41
it's a heresy of Reformed Druidic. It can only show up after reformation. At that point you do what you normally do to try to get a heresy going.
gwennetts 12. jan. 2024 kl. 9:38
Whats with the Brittanic religion? It never shows up no matter what. i tried to use cheats but it didn't work.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2023 kl. 15:28
There are flavor events for all the religions.
skuggvarg.13 6. nov. 2023 kl. 4:18
This may have allready been answered but are there any console events for the mod. Like Egypt for example?:steamhappy: Love the mod btw
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 14. okt. 2023 kl. 13:52
I don't think I ever got neo-coptic events working, pretty sure it only shows up when the demon-child gets it's three witch ladies and with some of immortal sages.

The demigod trait is my attempt at a reskinned Saint/Honored Ancestor(?), not sure it ever worked. It's supposed to happen if you pick Ancestor Veneration during Reformation.
Broly218 13. sep. 2023 kl. 23:43
Thank you again for making this mod! It's given me countless hours of leading various pharaohates & tanistries.
I've been pokin around the files any I got a couple questions if you didn't mind.
Was the Neo-Coptic culture event stuff ever made functional, how does this demigod trait work and wad do I need for that Egyptian saintly bloodline?
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 22. aug. 2023 kl. 15:37
Sure, go for it.
Zombaxx 17. aug. 2023 kl. 14:47
Hello, would it be alright if I added the new religions and societies from this mod to my map mods? Giving credit of course.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2023 kl. 10:37
Nope, no more features.
blasterdark1 25. apr. 2023 kl. 6:17
Greetings Mr. Tumor

I really love your content and ideas for creating this mod. I would like to
ask if you ever planning on adding the ancient Assyrian Faith to this mod as it would be cool to restore and conquer the world as Ashurist Assyria?
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. 2023 kl. 11:06
Nice :)
Aetius Julius Caesar 2. apr. 2023 kl. 10:09
Oh, by the Kushite stuff, I meant that historically, Kushite Nubia was fully Kemetic, and highly Egyptianized. In fact, they even ruled Egypt as Pharaohs during the 8th century BCE, which saw the construction of Pyramids in Egypt for the first time since the Old Kingdom. The Kings of analytic and Alodia only converted to Christianity in an attempt to have close cultural ties to Rome. So the Kushite remark was a historical reference.

As I am an actual Hellenist, I love the Hellenic events that pop up. Most recently I got one that was a retelling of the myth of Perithous. One of my courtiers wanted to save Persephone from Hades’ clutches and asked me to come along. I said no, and as a result, he died, and Hades and Persephone both gave me a blessing for my infinite wisdom.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. 2023 kl. 9:07
I didn't do the Kushite stuff, so I can't take credit for that. Thank you for saying thank you :)
I'm glad you've enjoyed the work, it was a big part of why I did it.

Some intrepid modder might be able to do something with the art assets from one of the ancient world total overhauls, like... Daiodachi Kings? Can't really remember. There's a tiny chance that When The World Stopped Making Sense also has some of that Pharonic headgear.
Aetius Julius Caesar 2. apr. 2023 kl. 7:45
I have an expanded version of this mod which makes Kemetic and Hellenic religions compatible with one another due to historical syncreticism, and I found out that A.D. 633 Rise of Islam is also compatible with it. Still, kudos to where credit for that mod is due. Thank you so much for developing this: a mod in which Egyptian and Nubian rulers have a chance to restore both the rule of the Pharaohs in the Nile Valley, and the glory of the ancient Kushites. Now, if only there were some mod for both this and the expanded mod that allows Kemetics to wear Ancient Egyptian headgear...
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 7. mar. 2023 kl. 12:51
Lots of requirements for that CB.

The target must be an unreformed pagan (unless you're a reformed pagan), their capitol must be a part of de jure Pictland, and they can't be in revolt (or in the same realm as you).

If you meet all those criteria and it still doesn't work, I don't know what could be wrong.

There's another modder who has created a continuation of ARR and even added new features. Just search for Ancient Religions Continued and Expanded. It's by Alexios something. They may have fixed this bug.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 24. feb. 2023 kl. 18:47
I don't think anyone has mentioned that, but I can take a look.
Moccus 23. feb. 2023 kl. 7:26
I don't know if this has been covered before, but I can't use the subjugation casus belli with the become king of Pictland ambition despite being a Tribal Celtic pagan with elective gravelkind succession, even though, I should be able to.
Tumor  [ophavsmand] 15. feb. 2023 kl. 16:09
I don't understand why people are leaving entitled whiny comments on mods that were made for free and maintained/expanded for 7 years...

I hope steam will add some new rules for commenters.
zorro 20. sep. 2022 kl. 18:56
aa that fome but well and I'm already trying it
