It's a famous classical music peace, the William Tell Overture.

I'm also considering completely re-doing this mod, editing the animation to actually add a proper bolt cocking sequence, and maybe beefing up the sound effects, but I'm not sure yet. Stay tuned.

That could happen if the director is turned off if you go to the gunstore; the guns that spawn in the spots are randomized. It has nothing to do with this mod.

When I have both mods on, and I go into the gunstore in the first campaign, both the hunting rifle and sniper are skinned as the FAL. When I turn the FAL mod off, the sks appears, and the sniper is the default model. I'm not smoking anything, I was just wondering if you had heard of this issue. Guess not.

The two mods do not conflict whatsoever. I don't know what you're smoking.

Having a slight issue, when I use this skin it overrides the SKS skin you also posted and makes both the hunting rifle and the sniper appear as the FAL. Any advice? Other than that little issue, this whole skin series has been absolutely perfect.

Yes, but whenever I attempted to implement this in the animations, excessive clipping occured, to the point that it was distracting and ugly, hence why the reload is simply a slowed down version of HyperMetal's original FAL reload from his animation set for the AK47. I know how to rig a model onto an existing animation skeleton - a monkey with Blender or 3DSmax can easily do that - but I know jackshit about actually editing the animations properly, let alone animating in of itself.

yeah i totally agree. well since your one of the only modders who have replied, could u do a sound mod for this FN FAL and the M16A4 Burst? I use both of those since they are what seems to be the likely guns to be used in america and i like to make my l4d2 experience 'authentic'.

Just use the burst and fn fal sound from insurgency. those guys did it right.

and btw thank you for replacing the scar with the m16!!!! :D

They sound a lot more intense and loud in Insurgency, it's just that L4D2 is not very good at rendering weapon sounds in general.

Sometimes the workshop just goofs up. Either restarting or subscribing and re-subscribing usually does the trick.

It wont let me install this mod or any other Insurgency weapon mods you have made.... I have restarted my game but they have not shown up in my add-ons list or in-game.. help
