Mod from the begin like Teamfortress 2 is free 100%

Mod which is HUGE sucess like Counter Strike ( Valve buy it from a team of modder , and remake it again to become stand alone Steam game)

What? Dude do you slave hours over something for free? I think mcdonalds workers should be paid by devotion. Fuck off.

anti Valve Mod payment >> 100% ruin the modding comunity =='

They have removed it , Gabe Newell admit that : " Modding should be free":mac:

This map can be run outside of ns2 combat standalone with the mod I putup titled "NS1 Combat Mod" which i is a modified (and unfinished) modification of NS2C by Dragon, which features Combat in it, that mimics the combat experience from NS1.

Can we play this map without having to give the developers money for the combat mod? I loved Blackmesa from NS1 so much. Is it a straight replication or did you make changes?

Played a few rounds with the ns1 combat mod on a full server which led to aliens practically base camping marines. Could be the balance of the mod (which mimics ns1 rules) or the map itself, who knows. All I know is that this is a dedication to all my memories and hours spent on the ns1 map, which this attempts to mimic, and add new things in the process. Though unfinished.. i'm not even sure if i'll finish it because of the state of combat and ns2 altogether. Without the possibility to merge siege and combat like the old days, there's really no inspiration to continue with this.

looks a little broken all the buttons are exesive for natural selections combat style and this map would be best for a smaller number of players
