so for some reason I have the gun fully loaded in game, it shoots fine, but I cannot aim down the scope with it. I move slower and my crosshair gets marginally smaller, but thats it. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

@LemonHeroman no, he is meaning the LWP Weapons pack. There is a weapon in that pack called B-F-R that is exactly the Gauss-Rifle from Crysis 2...only with a different firing sound. The rifle in the lwp pack is in its CELL-white/grey tone, while this one here seems to be brown/grey.

I keep downloading and redownloading, but these weapons never show in myspawn menu.

@Deika, Toa of Fire: You mean the "AWP swep pack?" and I don't think This "Guass sniper" is the same as a regular sniper... IRl it actually would fire a high velocity projectile going around Mach 1-2 or 1200-1400mph... Its like a very slow Railgun... (If you even know what that is.... :))
