Honestly after testing this mod myself, I found that sadly the males seem to be way more common than the females, like I find 7+ males with only a few females at the beginning of most maps. Like it seems that genders are very unbalanced in L4D2, still a funny mod though.

I wonder if you could maybe seperate the males and females from one another instead of them being all together. So people who just want females can get those and those of us who just want males can get those.
