the performance loss is caused by all the decorations, you've got too much grass. artistically though, this much and this long of grass isnt necessary. theres a lot you can get away with, with a texture that looks like nice thick grass-the map ravine is a really good example. really excited to see what you do with this though, i can imagine a cool air battle in the sky at some point.

Love the model swaps, never realized how fun the H4 warthog is to drive until I played this mod with the OG design. Great work, even though it's just a basic island it's lots of fun and shows plenty of promise.

Great first version. I imagine you'll obviously create broader enemy encounters over time. A mild story or objectives could be good where there's a cycle of Covenant commanders at each emitter beacon to encourage players to move around the map. Adding a targeting laser that sends in squads of ODSTs instead of missiles could be a fun addition. I'm personally not attached to the Halo 3 assets as many are dated, even though you've made them look much better, I still cant connect with the marines at least. A simplified Reach marine would be my pick.

Pretty good but for a final version I'd like to see some kind of long-term objective. Maybe there can be something to do like activate 3 buttons at each beam tower or destroy a covenant camp etc. Also would be cool to use the plasma rifle.

I understand this mod is still in a very early stage of development, but it has the potential to be the foundation for something much better. Firstly, it needs more weapons: H2A's Battle Rifle, Reach's Spartan Laser, Skaboodlydoodle's M79 Machine Gun, H4's Sticky Detonator, H2A's Shotgun with Combat Evolved stats, H2A's Plasma Rifle, H4's Railgun, Reach's Sting Rifle, or H4's Fuel Rod Cannon are all very good options to add. It also needs more enemies, such as Elite variants, Hunters, or Brutes. Special attention to restore classic voices on aliens. For Marines, I prefer H2A's models and obviusly ODSTs. It would also be a good idea to collaborate with other modders like RejectedShotgun to add vehicles like the Lich, Mantis, Mammoth, or Vulture, as well as other classic vehicles like the Scorpion, Wraith, or Phantom. Regarding the Phantom, enemies should deploy in ships or drop pods instead of simply spawn, with the option for players to requesting supplies or ODST reinforcements.

Its okay. It definitely needs more stuff since it basically feels like an empty forge map, with the occasional vehicles or outposts scattered here and there. I'll probably play this again when its more updated.

this is really cool as a foundation, try adding more varied structures to the map and perhaps look to halo 4 mythic overhaul for sandbox improvement. The enemies felt like they spawned too close and too frequently, perhaps try larger waves with more delay between spawns, maybe even use phantoms to deploy enemies. The map seems like it would be a really cool setting for a game mode like the ultimate firefight mod too.

This is awesome, only thing I found the fps on high settings it stutters a bit. put it on performance it runs smoothly. Turn off cosmetics unless you want your main loadout weapons to have no first person view model. Some Character meshes feet , even the warthog tires clip under the terrain, seems to just be a visual bug. Overall this mod is awesome, Visually and artistically its so amazing. Things I would like to see come to this mod would be more vanilla covenant enemy ranks and infantry like hunters, drones , engineers. More points of interest on the map would be an awesome edition. Areas like caves similar to halo ce silent cartographer vibes. Not trying to be to hard on this mod but just wanted to give my input if it helps. I think this could be a really cool in the future.

this mod is properly made for early access, couple things i notice not in order. can get into the back of the pelican if you make it go lower enough, from spawn or any point of the map you can see enemies spawn and take them out, enemies seem to spawn really quick after 2 from the squad die, felt the lack of enemies in just a patrol mode as the ai just spot you when they spawn, could be just me, the elites feel more aggressive than the retail H4 elites, overall i love to see what else would be added, forgot to mention theres some little lakes and puddles with floating grass and trees, i find it funny to see

@Cyanith You need to disable campaign customisation, it's a common issue where leaving it on when playing a modded campaign will break the first person viewmodels.

**sniper rifles, beam rifles, and needlers have first-person models, but the AR, magnum, carbine, and plasma pistol do not. Also you can't pick up plasma rifles, they get immediately deleted.

Also the map looks pretty good, but some unique landmarks would really help give it flavor and help you orient yourself. Like a forerunner bridge over a lake, a light bridge in another place, etc. Maybe a destroyed scarab or crashed pelican at places.

Nice mod, how long did it take you to make this?

My own input is I would much rather enemies and allies be placed around the map in camps and buildings for you to clear out, instead of just constantly spawning. When they constantly spawn it feels meaningless to kill them. Also it is halo 4, right? Maybe add some armor abilities to the sandbox?
