I manually installed the mod as you suggested, but almost none of his lines play. In fact, the same is true of all the survivors. At this point I have no idea WTF to do.

Being that I have never modded before, I have no idea how much of a pain in the arse it would be to do this, but is it possible to port the Hoxton voice and skin mod to someone from L4D team 1, such as Louis?

Yeah pretty much, if it is not working for you need to extract the files using GCFScape to their specified directories, it shows where in the mod files I think. Sorry about not explaining it earlier and I will be able to tell you the exact directory in a bit when my mods finish downloading.

Well no, I use the snd_rebuildaudiocache command. If I was supposed to do something further I had no idea. Can you explain what I am supposed to do in the future? Should I extract the files and manually install with GCFScape like with other voice mods?

I will reinstall l4d2 right now and check things out on my end. When rebuilding you manually moved the files right?

It should work fine if it does not change Nick. If all else fails though you can try to rebuild audio cache with the Hoxton files.

Well I did have a few custom voice packs installed, but I uninstalled them and verified filed to get everything back to zero. Still had your mod installed, and I noticed that his reload voice was not working, though his intro lines did, at least on a few levels. So it was kind of working for me. Doing a fresh reinstall at this point because it was working. A quick question, will your mod stop working if I use the rebuild audio files in general (say I wanted to install a custom voice pack for bill). I am just not sure because the mod seemed to be working fine while I was using the other voice packs

Also if you rebuilt the audio cache earlier you will need to rebuild it with the vanilla files because I used the original files to determine file length.

it mutes some as well, are you still hearing nick or is it just muted?

Does not work, only replaces some of his audio, even with all subscribed to.

This addon makes my game more enjoyable. is there a chance if the other characters from payday have there own voice packs cause that would be hands down amazing.

I don't think I have enough space to upload more content to the workshop, I finished a Deadpool Voice pack but it keeps giving me an error. Otherwise I still don't know if I would be willing to make another Payday 2 voice pack for a while because going through each audio file is such a painful process due to Overkill not naming the audiofiles.

hey dire, thats a cut line from PD2 that wasnt used.

i had a mod where these cut lines were used in the game for killing specials.

You shouldn't have replaced the non-hoxton sound files with blank ones. You should've changed those too or just left 'em.

@stimjimkodokbeast: probably 2 weeks still trying to find chians voice files, it is annoying since overkill does not name their audiofiles by character like valve and riotgames
