I find the problem, the distant weather do storm and I see the flash of distant weather.

Hey, I had distant flashes while I was playing though there was a clear sky. It's normal?

Main lightning mod can be placed anywhere, the COT patch must come after COT.

have COT and both your mods installed but i seem to not have the "power" to change any settings. is there any loadorder or sth that it might not work?

Why Bethesda negelected to add lightning strikes to the default game I will never know. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Nothing like being a a lightning mage in a thunderstorm with the fingers of god striking EVERYTHING around you. :D Thumbs UP!

Ty so much for this. Because I use "pure weather" the nights are a lot darker so the lightning flashes in the rain makes it incredibly realistic.

An amazing mod. Great work! However, it requires some configuration to get right. This is the set-up I'm going with: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=306841264 My goal was to have something that felt more “realistic” when experiencing thunderstorms. Also, the settings syncs pretty good with the sounds of thunder played by default in Skyrim. If you already have great settings feel free to ignore this comment =)
