@landonn I'm going to rebuild each of the SCP's code to handle things a little better in large active prisons, because that is a big issue.

another bug is, some scps you cant test, only release and re contain, and when you release them they just go to the exit like a visitor

@Zodiac I know, but it would still be cool to see them try, and it would be better then them walking right past the scp

@Robajzs Great ideas for the future of this mod! For now I'm really focusing on the basics. Trying to get the behaviour of the SCP's down first and foremost and making sure they are fluid and usable for the player. Building that strong foundation to build upon.

@Zodiac Hello!

I came up with an idea that could improve the mod. What if you added a new tab under the "Prison" section that would show which SCPs my site can request?

This tab could display all available SCPs, including a small preview image (for example from the SCP Wiki). When the player orders an SCP from this tab, a special containment or capture unit could transport it to the site and place it into the appropriate containment cell based on its class.

From the same tab, the player could then initiate tests. Each SCP could have several different test options (for example, four unique test types). After completing a test, the assigned researcher would automatically create a report and "send" it to the Foundation, generating some funding for the site.

What do you think about this idea?
I think it would be mutch more intuitive that it is now.

I don't know if its just for me or if its a bug, but guards dont shoot or do anything really when an SCP has breached containment.

@PoopyFard I'm currently working on reworking the entire testing system at the moment. It works really well in test scenarios but when you actually try it out with a full functioning prison it doesn't work as well because the guards and prisoners are all trying to follow the daily schedule, so I'm changing the system around completely so that it works 100% of the time.

I don*t really understand how the testing works though, is it already implemented in the mod? if so, how do I test on scps?

Yeah I'm actually looking into this now. I'm going to make it so guards can't come in an escort d-class away until 60 seconds have passed or the test has began. This will be all ironed out, so don't worry too much. I'll have a look over the researchers scripts while I'm at it.

It's like trying to get the groundwork laid out then iron over these bugs afterwards. The foundation is all there, just gotta build it from here.

Its a bit buggy, like the second the D-class arrives I have a small window to actually activate the test, sometimes the researcher doesnt come till I click the start test button and in that window the D class wanders off. Do I need to make the containment rooms staff only? How abouts do I go setting up observation chambers as well, just so I dont have to send a guard and a scientist into a euclid containment centre. Thanks for the help.

Very simple process, Hire a Researcher, place an scp in a room and click on it and click fetch D-class

@ihyx I imagine just because this mod has so many moving parts in it, it's just not going to be very compatible with other larger mods. Apologies about that. As far as I'm aware that mod will cause your staff to look like their vanilla versions.

As for above or below it doesn't overly matter. Both mods use assets and scripts from one another but nothing is overlapping so either is fine!

hey when using these mods my staff don't use the modded skin- is that because im using the ox's fixes mod? Also do I put thisabove or below the main mod in the load order

You can test, with those particular SCP's 012, 178, 513.

Many of the "SAFE" SCP's will also be testable
