The estates should probably exert their own control independently of the crown and some money should probably get lost to simalute embezzlement, corruption, and expenses to exert control in their own right (guards and tolls)

@Ral Great idea!
Imperius nov. 30., 3:11
i think need a update
Mistah_X nov. 28., 9:04
no update? i really love this mod's idea
Ral nov. 19., 15:43
Has anyone considered scaling estate expenses by control, instead of buffing estate income? I'm wondering if it would prevent estate treasuries from growing too fast.
Gaming Dealer nov. 19., 12:19
havent tried this out but it just makes sense that the money lost by the state not fully controlling a province, would go to the estates, idk why they just made it disappear

so every market eventually just makes lumber max expensive because the estates build all those resource conversion laborer buildings that use lumber. the things you're only supposed to use when you lack specific RGOs in sufficient density are being spammed everywhere.

of course i tried to fight back using lumbermills, but im losing. lumbermills are the most profitable of these buildings, but they're not building those very much. so its a constant fight to have tools and have lumber because of this market activity race. im gonna turn the mod off and let them be broke >_<

btw not hating your mod. hating the ai logic. it makes 0.1 profit maybe, lets build it. bro i had some sexy margins. stop eating my supply and building limit. i decide the demand. i spend more time deleting buildings with all their help. stupid ai.

your mod is great. its a real bug.
nexessor nov. 16., 14:53
thanks for the mod - works like a charm! :)
Agraza nov. 16., 12:56
well using this mod now they have money and use it to spam ♥♥♥♥ factories around my cities, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my economy. i think i prefer them bankrupt.
KSchwertner nov. 15., 16:30
thanks author! I truly hope the estate issue will be fixed soon. So painful to see estates always have no money left....
Suisight nov. 15., 9:51
Thanks for adressing this - but I do hope we see a wholesome vanilla fix soon.
Tesla nov. 15., 9:26
In my game estates become a charity... they build too fast, not really keepeng anything for themselves. That's acctually a problem. May be reduce their effective income like by 50%? So they can party on other half
me when I go over 100 years without being able to take a single loan because my estates are so ♥♥♥♥
Drakken nov. 13., 23:02
Seems the Burghers still do not make enough money. In my Portugal run, I undertax them for Market Attraction and still, most of the building is done by the Nobles and a little by the Clergy.
lilliesea  [készítő] nov. 13., 17:40
@Drakken It's happened to me too. Honestly I have no idea how estates choose to set aside money for loans :/
lilliesea  [készítő] nov. 13., 17:39
@Tyler Yeah I think so. It's possible that this mod might make estates unbalanced in the other direction. I'll see what I can do about when/where estates choose to build.
lilliesea  [készítő] nov. 13., 17:36
@MosulVet To prevent players from going bankrupt with a single loan, estates are guaranteed to have a minimum amount of money to satisfy a loan, as long as the player has less than 2 active loans.
Drakken nov. 13., 17:35
Do Estates refresh the money they set aside for loans? As Portugal I was forced to take some loans because of the plague, then French beating the crap out of me, and after a few years the Estate still had the same amounts for loans (minus the ones I took) as before.
Tyler nov. 13., 16:55
are estates suppose to be constantly building buildings now? even small 10k population tribes i conquered are building buildings in far away london.
dunka2 nov. 13., 11:28
This mod is a godsend. Really recommend this to everyone until Paradox fix the problem.
Basilevs Arsenios nov. 13., 7:54
Ну хоть кто то это сделал. СПАСИБО ОГРОМНОЕ! THANK YOU WEY MUCH!!
Antsan nov. 13., 4:38
@Echo
Hover over the Estate's icon in the top bar. It's listed in the popup.
Echo nov. 13., 2:47
How can I see what each of my estates' wealth is?
MosulVet nov. 13., 0:22
It appears that sometimes, the estates share the exact same wealth? E.g. atm, all of my estates are each worth 316.16 ducats. Seems odd?
lilliesea  [készítő] nov. 12., 23:44
@Enrar The AI's yearly payment is scaled up x12, so no worries there.

To calculate the income shortfall, we have to loop through every location in the country. Doing this every month for all countries has a small but non-negligible impact on performance, so we keep the AI calculations yearly to keep this mod as lightweight as possible.
lilliesea  [készítő] nov. 12., 23:42
@Ogima Sure, just keep in mind that this mod may well introduce balance issues of its own. Also, we can only approximate the income shortfall as we only have access to per-country and not per-location estate power %.
Enrar nov. 12., 23:22
Why every month for the player and year for the AI? Wouldn't that make the player's estate get paid more and it's unfair for the AI
Ogima nov. 12., 22:44
@lilliesea- I am the author of Sovereign Realm and I would love to use your mod with your permission of course. I await your reply ;)
