Downloading a lot of mods at once sometimes result in file corruption, from what I heard. I'd try
"Right click Rimworld on Steam -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files"

As soon as I started to generate a world my game crashed

The older version of Prepatcher was accidentally exported from my subscription and included by mistake. Thanks for letting me know!

Does this work with Prepatcher? It says its outdated and I can't get the game to start with it
