If it *does* turn out to be nothing more than a tease or a points farm, there's a first person animations recoded addon. You can pair that with other first person addons, if done correctly you'll get something akin to TF2's hidden full-body first person.

I find it odd to post a question on the workshop rather than any actual demo or anything of that nature... Why not just do what everyone else does and release it out of nowhere. Idk this just seems like a serious tease

I'm here to say you shouldn't do that.

Of course people want a mod like this, on YouTube there's plenty of videos with a 100k views that use a simple "bodycam" overlay over otherwise regular gameplay. It would be an almost guaranteed front page mod if you reuploaded a real version.

Obviously the stats aren't going to be accurate if there's nothing to judge or share around with people. So don't be too hasty with the reception, honestly you got it pretty good with nothing.

Tell you the truth, if you weren't already a proven modder I would have called this a nothingburger con for Steam Point awards because anyone could make those example GIFs

Yeah keep working on it for sure! People are gonna complain no matter what, but me and a lot of other people really appreciate niche mods like this.

To see people's interest mercury... this would probably take a lot of effort to make work, so it'd be a waste if the reception was lukewarm at best.

Calm down. I'm the most enthusiastic person about wasting time on this garbage mod. I'm currently considering a different approach with the help of Shadowysn.

You probably should have made the mod first and then released the full version. Are there any ways to try this mod out? Or are you the only one with access to it?

Judging by the stats, this mod probably won't gain much popularity relative to the effort involved. For now, I'm procrastinating with other mods.
And of course, the lag between weapons and aiming points has been resolved, that's not the issue.
