I wanted to try and modify something and personalised it a little bit by adding a suspension system. Now each wheel has an indipendent suspension. I was able to find a solution that is stable and doesn't add much weight. A simple suspension design overall.
If you are interested in see it just let me know. I wont publish it myself cause i don't want to steal your idea and work, but if you are interested in publishing an updated version just let me know ;D
I also guess I just wasn't expecting it to be that enormous.
(Also, why on Pertram is it so **large**?)
One big issue is that the corridors don't really lead anywhere. 3 outside locations, the bridge and that's about it.
Another IMO major issue is external connector access. In my opinion the rover could be improved by removing some of the gubbins from the underside and adding a hinge with an attached connector, along with a couple of buttons to cause the hinge to rotate between straight down and horizontal. That way the rover can drive over a floor connector, lower its underside connector and squat on its suspensions. A top mounted camera on the connector would help with this.
A third item to improve is IMO the landing pad. Adding a couple of inset (small) connectors alongside the current one, maybe a block further aft, could let the player choose between one and two single seat utility fliers.
Keep it up!
