I think the Hunter's blood map textures get broken on this model if you use some reskins, the blood is just a pink and black checkerboard

also, the howler's model changing based on difficulty is neat but the problem is: if u gonna use this on standard NIGHTMARE its gonna still be tough cuz the NIGHTAMARE modpack is soooo dark u often don't see him. if BananaSauce doesnt show interest in adding different models, maybe he could make an dealy to the Howler's attack

Np natsenko, lol, good point but i think he should still be nerfed either way. when i played NIGHTMARE for the first time, i played Hard Rain on normal, everyone was dead, just me, then when i was on the lift, i saw the howler on the elevator door, when the door opened.. insta-death.. i think spamming an flashlight should make his damage decrease but when he hits you would still get staggered. Just to give a little bit of breath to last players

Sorry for the yap just thought i'll give my fellow addon makers a heads up when it comes to porting any sort of Nightmare related thing to VScript.

As much that you think adding the Howler as it's own Special Infected is a neat idea, you should beware that since how the howler is designed, it all comes down to down cues and game design (As in it can only spawn in wide open areas so you can't get screwed over in a narrow passage and it cannot be a spawn chance of 50/50 because its designed to be a rare POSSIBLY one time spawn) so you will have to make it 100% known that The Howler isn't the Jockey and messing up any sound cues, or traits could destroy the whole game design of The Howler what brings it in it's natural "element" i'll say, since The Howler actually doesn't insta-kill only on Advanced & Expert but regardless it always incaps on Easy & Normal, and if you use the Skill Issue Version you might as well just make it's model replace based on difficulty since it wouldn't really be a "nightmare" just a minor little obstacle that you could probably just ignore the whole flashlight mechanic.

@Bonnie O.B @BananaSauce , Good ideia, the problem is if he works like in the NIGHTMARE modpack(instakill and luck based) he would be pretty annoying, so i think changing his stats would be ideial. my ideia:

Howler
hp- Unkillable (Unless with fire)
damage- instakill (plays an rather quick animation before killing)
Ways to counter him- Shooting can slow not only his killing animation but also can slow his speed, fire makes him faster but also kills him after some time, you can slow him down with explosions too, flashlights makes him far more visible
speed- same as the OG

also an quick note. its also ideial to use the Skill issue version, since the Howler's too difficult to see, this version would be an ideial one.

For Back 4 Blood, the Snitch could’ve been cool, a zombie that just follows you around until you mess up and it calls a horde, probably could be a witch or something

@Frost Byte i just tested it out again and the cloak ability does work so its as i said before

@Frost Byte when it crouches next to a wall or object it should cloak, not much i can do if it spawns in a open space so thats probably the reason

Alright last thing and ill leave ya alone after playing through a campaign and seeing this in action it didnt look like it was cloaking around objects or walls so I messed with it in bot mimic and I couldnt get it to work. Is it only specific props just curious
