I'm playing with 370 mods, and I thought I had a bug with the pawn behavior. When the prisoner was beaten and lay unconscious, almost all the pawns were standing still and no one carried the prisoner to the bed (he had his own bed). It wasn't a medical one. I turned on combat mode for the colonist, put the prisoner in the bed, saved the game, and restarted, and the bug disappeared. Could there be a conflict with the Prison Labor mod?

Sorry to comment here since one of your mod "Disable Raid Needs" has no comment section.
I would like to ask if it possible to edit instead of disable need when there is raid, to disable need when the pawn is draft instead?

have you patched the operating table from VFE - medical module ?
it doesnt have the priority icon and my pawns keep laying on it to heal instead of any other bed

@Yxklyx Fixed it

There appears to be a bug when a childbirth is taking place. Many of my pawns just started Standing and the debug log mentioned taking someone to operate on.

Finally! I end up running hospitals, even when I don't mean to. My current one is a 32-bed trauma unit and dealing with MCEs is a pain.

Thank you, this is an amazing mod

Yoooo! This has been a thing I've wanted for soooo long. Thank-you! :dronelike:

THATS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR

I added surgery bed system and improved performance with cached bed lists and automatic memory cleanup. Ngl beds for operations are fire :summer2019boost:

Also there's an experimental option to block beds by xenogenes, but I don't play with modded races so it can be hit or miss depending on which mod will work with it.
WeepingDiscord 30. sep. kl. 22:15
Thank you, now I can throw my prisoners into the organ extraction inator without doing weird jank with beds.:steamhappy:

@Armed Avocado I could be wrong as I don't know the true ins and outs of the code but I think the beds are not reserved as much as they are "invalid" to any rescued pawn that doesn't meet the criteria, ie priority is only significant when the game tries to find them a bed and an in-use one isn't an option. If I'm correct, it's not checking routinely to shift or re-assign pawns based on priority.

Personally imo it would be annoying if it did (limits player being able to override where necessary) unless it could be disabled, and I haven't noticed it doing that.
RawBread 30. sep. kl. 12:56
This is great. And once we can also prioritise beds for operations, even better. Thanks!
Armed Avocado 30. sep. kl. 12:34
@XDelphi. Thanks for the explanation. One clarifying question: will critical-designated beds be reserved for pawns with critical injuries? Or will pawns automatically sort themselves, i.e. take the best bed available, then move when a more severely injured pawn needs it?

Soon™

I'm working on it
Phenax 30. sep. kl. 7:29
Is there a way to make a bed prioritized for operations? There’s an operating table in vanilla expanded it adds success chance but has lower immunity gain
XDelphi 29. sep. kl. 16:10
@ferny The player can manually assign priority to any bed designated as medical via the priority gizmo (options: low, medium, high, critical). This then plays a role in bed choice when pawns are rescued or need tending - they'll use the criteria for each of those priorities which are set in config.

For example, if a bed is set to critical (via gizmo) and the criteria (config) determines bleed rate must be x OR other criteria (ie heart attack, serious infection xyz) then then that bed could be used for any patient that meets the criteria.

Players can still - from what I've tested - choose to move patients to whatever bed (of whatever priority) they want, and the game won't fight you on criteria. Example, if you choose to assign a bruise to a critical bed, it won't kick them out because they don't meet it.

Priority status can also be disabled via config if you purely want the relocate beds function (will instead use distance based logic).
ferny 29. sep. kl. 14:07
I'm confused, what makes a bed a "priority bed" is that user assigned or automatic? If its user assigned, where do you do that?
KawwaK 29. sep. kl. 5:15
I hate we need mods like this to fix the game systems.
XDelphi 28. sep. kl. 18:53
@Procrastinate-King - They said further down they may look into that, but its not a feature currently.
Procrastinate-King 28. sep. kl. 12:21
Dumb question, is there a way to assign some beds automatically for surgery and others for tending?
Lord Milkman 28. sep. kl. 10:02
Cool mod, you should add functionality to move people into biosculptors and cryptosleep pods
Byter 28. sep. kl. 8:49
Out of interest, would there be a way to automatically give beds priority and then have a manual override? I'm asking because something like cleanliness, bed quality, immunity gain boost and whatnot could be used to calculate the best beds and then set thresholds what would be considered a critical bed and whatnot. :Djoe: Great mod though, thank you!
High Rads | Nuka Cola 28. sep. kl. 3:54
So performance wise, it only checks when the button (gadget?) is clicked, and not passively on the background, hogging resources? So the performance impact is only when the pawn is being moved, no?
konstantynopolitaneczka  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. kl. 1:15
Seems to be fine, I didn't notice anything affecting performance. From more technical perspective it uses hashsets for bed lookup and efficient bed filtering logic. In the next update I'm adding caching and turning down frequency of harmony patches so theoretically it should reduce the perf impact even further
legend 27. sep. kl. 23:06
how is this on performance?
doctor who? 27. sep. kl. 2:40
Every week better and better live mods! THANKS!
konstantynopolitaneczka  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. kl. 15:42
Not sure about these mods, but moving pawn to already owned bed simply changes the ownership (so the pawn isn't instantly ejected from the bed)
KaelynZ 26. sep. kl. 15:10
This mod looks great, and I want to use it. But how does it interact with other mods that do bed assignment, such as Bed Ownership Tools and Sensible Bed Ownership?
konstantynopolitaneczka  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. kl. 15:00
@Cretz, I'll look into it

@Pikachu Pæc @Wolmer
That's a neat idea. Yeah I'll add it soon
Wolmer 26. sep. kl. 13:39
Cool idea! It would be also nice if you could make one bed dedicated to operations and operations only.
Pikachu Pæc 26. sep. kl. 12:25
Can you add beds designated for surgery??? That would make this mod giga awesome compared to just super awesome!
Cretz 26. sep. kl. 12:20
Nice. Can beds be restricted based on xenotype? Androids from VRE Androids shouldn't be placed in beds.
