You were just told that they can't set it up that way and you're basically trying to play a game that's not designed around being locked in that position, similar to how Alien Swarm was designed around being locked in this very position so Valve never made a skybox so when you add an FPS mod to that game, you just see this void up above the playable area because you're not supposed to see that.

Balanced as all things should be.
But the easier thing to do is if we're able to toggle it on or off alongside 3rd person view if that's possible. It's like just giving a bird's eye view of the field then toggle off and proceed with 3rd person again. Like I can see it being useful when we can toggle it on when we're carrying a gas can or cola and want to look out for special infected.
