@TrueSkum no problem, I need this for myself, because using more tenents just totally broke the windows in AGOT - for me, it looks insane - covers the entire screen and isn't interactible.
My fix looked pretty clean so I figured I might as well offer it to other people as well as keeping the fixes separate so AGOT updates don't remove my "fix."

If I added the code to increase number of tenets per religion (base 3? AGOT changes to 5)
I'd be overriding that file (core_tenets, i think) and it would be less compatible/need updates more frequently.

@TrueSkum yeah the issue is you're not downloading a mod that has any religion files in it that would possibly increase the amount of tenets a religion has.

Doesn't work for me, i got a pretty huge mod list and put this on the bottom, still no new tenet slots when creating a new faith when starting a new save, anyone know what the problem is or how to let it work?

On the CK3 paradox launcher you can also open the mod folder by clicking the three dots on the right side of the mod, it's easier that way compared to searching for the mod folder manually by the numbers it had on the workshop (I did that on ETS2 and ATS :bad_beauty: )

@AdanaCityPlayboy top of this page has a url, the ending numbers are the mod numbers.
ie this mod is 1758975513, agot ends in 3032

... i'm confused, so i need another mod to have more religious tenets available? So this is not like the other ones that simply add more tenets?

It's working now. I suggest making the Sins and Virtues limited to 7-10 per row since having for example in my case I change the tenet pick to 25, the virtues keep adding itself to the right and making some aspect of the faith creation windows floating out of the creation window. I suggest taking this aspect like in "unlimited customizable ethics" or the mts version of that

Thanks, I edited the files and it is working fine now, very nice, thanks for the mod.

If anyone is interested for the future. I edited directly the number of picks (base is 5) in common\religion\doctrines\00_core_tenets if anyone is interested for the future. This doesn't increase the slots on already existing religions, you have to create a new faith for it to appear. For adding slots to an already existing religion it is probably another file.

@Nero Yeah should work fine if you mod the files to allow for X number of tenet slots in a religion or just straight up edit the religion file itself to add whatever you want. I imagine the number of tenets is in defines? Haven't messed with that in a while.
Just editing the religion I wanted was in agot\common\religion\religions\
I really just made this mod because with 14+ tenets, the AGOT faith window completely breaks. It stretches across the entire screen and you can't click holy sites or even hover over any of the tenets.

Ah, lmao, sorry, I was being stupid, I just gave a quick glance at the description and got confused. Thanks for the response. So if I change the file to add more tenets to the faith, how would that work if I created a new faith from that one, would the number of extra tenet slots carry on, even if not filled? Also, is there a limit to how many you can add?

@Nero Sounds like you're confused at what this mod does, as I said in the description this does not modify faiths, or add any tenets. It only fits more in the intended box, IF you have more.
If your religion only has 5 tenets, that's what it will show, and that's all you're allowed to have if you try creating/diverging the faith.
If you modify the religion file adding more tenets then this will show them, ie the screenshots where I have ~14+ tenets.

Can't seem to get it to work. Have tried even with only AGOT and this activated and nothing changes. Things don't even get blank and empty like the other guy, it just shows the normal 5 tenet slots.

@PBMKZXY I cleaned up the code a bit and reuploaded, I tested again with just AGOT enabled + this mod and AGOT + around 15 other mods + this mod.
My faith and faith creation windows looks like it does in the screenshots posted here. Feel free to add me if it's still not working for you.

I restarted the game multiple times while testing this issue, including making a new playset (I use Irony Mod Manager) just with AGOT, LoV, Ancient Birthright, and this mod. Checking each mod folder for a gui files it's a safe load order and it's the same after eliminating each of the two mods in between AGOT and this mod, even with just AGOT and this mod. Checking the gui files, is it a deliberate thing that this mod doesn't include the two section of code after the faith window itself? I'll try cleaning my ck3 documents folder for old saves and cache after I sleep, maybe it'll fix something. Older save can cause some problem even if we're not loading that save in my experience haha

@PBMKZXY oddly enough I had the same thing happen yesterday, everything just blank - tenents/doctrines, every box that religion has. Simply reloading the game fixed it, and probably has nothing to do with this or any other mod.
Unfortunately paradox code isn't great and their parser is even worse. *shrug*
Screenshot in mod is with AGOT activated, I also play with a dozen other mods, works fine.

I tried this mod with my modlist and it doesn't work, the faith window where the tenet and doctrine located are blank and empty, the faith creator window is also blank although the tenet part itself is clickable and the option for swapping new tenet are shown. I thought it might be a mod conflict but there's no other mod that modify or contain the same .gui files except for AGOT itself and this mod.I tried using this mod alone with AGOT and still got the same result
