There are four classes of effects and each effect in a class has roughly the same probability of occurring.
Rare effects ("Take a chance on me!") have a 10% chance of occuring.
Enemy spawning effects have a 12.5% chance of occring
Weapon spawning effects have a 17.5% chance of occuring
"Normal" explosion effects have a 60% chance of occuring.
Could be that there aren't enough normal effects, so the 60% chance makes you see the same normal effects again and again, there are about 30 normal effects.
For the d20's doing nothing, there are a few effects that will occur directly above the d20 grenade (such as raining holy beams or rockets coming slowly), also there is a d20 grenade effect that just has it explode like a normal grenade. So when the d20 doesn't seem to do anything, look up! Something may be happening there. I'll try and make this more obvious.
I agree High Charity is probably too hard, but to be fair it's also very hard in the base game.
Overall, this is a fantastic mod, and it’s very fun to play, with a lot of replay value I know I had a lot of critiques, but that’s only because I’m really invested in this mod. It really is super fun, and I’m lookin forward to finishing it!
I don't like the tank vehicles that just flip when you shoot with them.
I think with a few simple changes to the weapon sandbox you have a real gem here. I understand having it all be goofy in the spirit of it being cursed, but I do think you can do that while giving the player something functional to fall back on.
Voice lines had me dying a few times. the crucifix banshee is 10/10 and so is the rgb scarab
Also the room with all the johnsons almost made me end it all. that screen shake from the pistol is too much.
