It was someone from her own country, if I recall correctly. The betrothal was from outside my own country, just to clarify.

Having an irregular bug sometimes. I'll get proposals from AI nations to betrothe a daughter to my ruler, only for them to marry someone else when the daughter comes of age.

Alright they also have same culture group, but my point stands I feel it should be limited to diplo range.

I was playing as Macedon and I kept receiving offers of marriage from same Religion countries but they were way outside my diplomatic range.
For example Parthia about 20 years into campaign.
Maybe it is just me, but it simply doesnt make sense if I wanna improve relations or insult somebody but I am unable to due to out of range but that somebody can make me a marriage offer :D

@Zamensis Oh ok cool I wasn't sure what you meant by no culture sharing at all. I think it being dip range or culture group is good then.

It's an OR. Either diplo range OR same culture group.

Maybe no culture restriction? Even though I like the idea of culture group restriction being there, eventually you will probably conquer them an have no one to royal marry.

Currently the AI has to be either within diplo range OR share the same culture group.
Do you think I should restrict it to culture instead of culture group? Or no culture sharing at all? Please explain, that would be valuable feedback.

If you could make it so the AI would stay within diplo range when considering these proposals it would make it a 10/10.
