heyy, so it's been a while...

Would you ever be willing to remake the test chamber part of this mod to be visually consistent with Portal 1 Remastered?
This is the only mod I've seen on this workshop that attempts to recreate Portal 1's escape sequence, and it would be nice if it all looked good together. :p2cube:

@D YellowMadness The gel was there because that section was taken from a past map I made. It's a reference to the way the final levels in Portal had you going through past test chambers during the escape. I ended up using the gel when I solved that room but I guess it's not necessarily required. Also, I do recall the turret room being pretty dark, so if that's what you're seeing then it was intentional at the time, though I'm not sure I'd do it that way now.

It took me forever to realize my own gun was killing me at the wall tile puzzle because I thought the wall tiles were killing me by hitting me so hard.

So, this was supposed to be a bit of proof-of-concept. I made it in less than a week and fully expected it to not work at all. The fact that some people actually completed it is honestly quite surprising xD

I like the concept though it doesn't work with a standard portal, as you'll see, which caused me to reload.

It was pretty buggy for me. For example, I missed the platform at the beginning and it never came back for me. I had to restart and make sure I caught the platform first try. Then I got stuck when things fell apart around me.

The last room got me, well played. I did like that you used player_clip on the stairs, but I would say make the first room into the actual high energy pellet puzzle from the first game. Great chamber, anyway
