@BED_TRIP That's a clever way to do it. I decided to run with it anyways, so I'll find out in this game if it works without issue or needs to be combined/merged. Thanks for the instructions!

I signed all changes by #mod#, you can find them with ctrl+f, hope it`ll help. Also 4.1 update

All you need to do is
1. find all fallen_empire_awakening_events.txt in your mods
2. copy all files + original file from game (same name) in some folder
3. compare modded to the original file (i use notepad++ with plugin Compare)
4. merge changes from mods to orig (or ask Cursor to do it for you, most likely, he will do it ~okay)
5. merge changes from my mod (2 lines signed with #mod# and all War in Heaven block, also signed)
6. place this file instead the file in my mod, place it last one in ur modpack

Almost 3k hours in this game and I've never had WiH occur. I want to use this, but am also using ACOT/Defines and AoT. Given how much those change re: Fallen Empires, I figure they probably clash with your changes. Hmm, maybe I could add whatever changes you made in your mod to the ACOT/AoT files?

Unfortunately, the awakening of the first FE is triggered in the core of the game relative to the endgame start date, there's nothing I can do about it. In the game, a crisis has a chance of spawning the later from the endgame date the more and most likely you will have 25-50 years for the war of heaven before crisis arrive.

I advise you to set the endgame date earlier, and the victory year later.

can you make it so it can trigger in the midgame instead

1. You need only this mod, I mentioned old one just for a reference.
2. If the game does not find the opposite ethic FE for 1st awarened FE, it will still awaken the other FE (non-Gestalt Consciousness), but the opposite ethic ones take precedence.

And does it work if the FEs are not having the opposing ethic? (Xenophile-Xenophobic and Materialist-Spiritual)

Will this version works alone? Or do i need to install the non 4.0 version as well?
