What is the mod that allows the inflatable lifeboats to work again?
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 14. nov. kl. 13:12
You can charge the sub by connecting an electric cable to the winch (either the rear winch if the sub in in the water or the hanger winch otherwise), there is a dedicated electrical anchor on the front of the sub.
Matt0ne 14. nov. kl. 5:08
no electric ports to charge the sub?
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 10. nov. kl. 9:50
You're welcome, always interesting to have feedback!
BobbyJackT 10. nov. kl. 8:55
I did not realize that, that is great news! Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it! :lunar2019smilingpig:

Thanks for the video, now I have the explanation. The generator is programmed (through its MC) to regulate to get the battery level at 98%. That's why, even if you get it on from the begining, it won't start directly, but only when the battery reaches 98%. You can test it in the temperate part of the map, the result should be the same.
BobbyJackT 9. nov. kl. 16:35
Thank you for the quick update! The generator still seems to not work, I have uploaded a video of the issue to YouTube: https://youtu.be/04Mn7Y7W8Jw
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 9. nov. kl. 15:53
Done (I haven't seen this menu yet).
LynxarA 9. nov. kl. 14:29
Btw, you can update change notes after upload (in the menu below main description like game version, date of upload and update)
BobbyJackT 9. nov. kl. 13:56
Appriciate it, let me know if you do
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 9. nov. kl. 10:07
I wanted to update the modified version but, looking at the Q&A on the helicopter's page I have seen that the authors don't authorize this. I'll ask specifically, though. However the mods are minor, I just painted it yellow and added some rope anchors to be able to secure it to the platform.

I made an update with a correction in the bilge pumps code (some of the dectors weren't triggering the alarm and the display of the water level was not correct). Adding pumps for the fwd hold is on my todo list...
BobbyJackT 9. nov. kl. 9:20
Thank you! If you have the modified version I would love to try it out.
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 9. nov. kl. 9:16
And when I need to handle container, I use this crane: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2592095630&searchtext=bee

It fits on the 4 elec connectors available on the platform.

Never met the issue you are reporting about the generator. Perhaps adding a heater in the engine room may help? I'll keep it in mind for the next update.
BobbyJackT 8. nov. kl. 15:09
Also what helicopters would you recommend to use with this ship?
BobbyJackT 8. nov. kl. 10:52
Understandable thank you! Additionally, do you know if there is an issue with the generator starting in the cold? I am trying it out in the arctic section of the map and it seems like the generator has trouble starting there but starts fine when it is warmer out. I even let the engines heat up the engine room and it still didn't start.
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. kl. 3:40
@BobbyJackT The pumps start automatically when water is detected in the corresponding compartment. Most of the rooms below the water line are monitored by bilge pumps but not the forward cargo hold, at least not yet. L'Aventure is a modified version of the Volunteer, and I didn't update the bilge pumps systems when I modified my first ship. It may come in the near future as I see that several users request it.
BobbyJackT 7. nov. kl. 16:22
How do you turn on the bilge pumps? Are they located in each of the cargo bays or on the lower decks?
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 5. nov. kl. 13:23
Many thanks for this enthusiastic feedback :-)
eucalyptus87 5. nov. kl. 11:39
10000000000000000000/10 SUPER AWESOME
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. kl. 13:43
Yes, you're right, I have not updated the bilge pumps when I modified the forward hull. Eventually I'll have to improve that, need to find some time though. In the meantime, sail safe and stay away from nasty megs :-)
Junovay 31. okt. kl. 13:40
@Naoned Yeah the bilge pumps will definetly need an overhaul at some point. The Front Container Storage Deck has no Bilge pumps and will sink the ship once flooded. (was doing some testing earlier and found this out.)
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. kl. 14:11
@Junovay they are on central console of the bridge
Junovay 30. okt. kl. 11:01
Hey man had a quick question, How on earth do I control or find the controls for the bow anchor?
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 25. okt. kl. 13:43
To stop the ship just get the main throttle back to 0. Or am I misunderstanding your question?
Dynamite Droid 24. okt. kl. 17:51
how do you stop
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 19. okt. kl. 9:00
@TallTexGuy Seems you have been scratching the hull a little? ;-) Just to make sure you've spotted them all there are 4 welding torches on the boat (2 in the rear hokd, 1 in the engine room, 1 in the sub hanger (in the closet)). I may add a few more in an upcoming update. Reviewing the bildge pumps is also part of my plans but need to find some time for this. In the mean time, as the hull has a double bottom the ship shouldn't be to easy to sink.
TallTexGuy 10. okt. kl. 5:14
More bilge pumps, or more powerful pumps, would be helpful too.
TallTexGuy 10. okt. kl. 5:12
Great boat, but would be helpful to have more welding torches.

@Grubskydude 1- release the slider's brake by turning the key button located at the sub's back. 2- Either push from the sub front to make it slide out of the hangar, or tie a cable from the rear winch to the rope anchor located at the rear of the sub, then use the winch to get it out. 3 - Once it is out, release the sliders by using the other key button. When you want to get it back into the hangar you can use the winch inside the hanger above the door to align the sub with the slider before towing it inside. Enjoy!
Grubskydude 28. sep. kl. 15:13
How do you get the sub out of the hanger?
mccafferq 2. sep. kl. 18:18
excited to test this
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 24. aug. kl. 3:48
Hi, made an update today that should fix the main door's problem, and deplaced the crane to have a better dock coverage. More updates to come soon.
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 17. aug. kl. 19:02
@brufo thanks for sharing experience, and nice suggestion, I'll think it over.
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 17. aug. kl. 19:02
@QbertTheKiller, right, I must have forgotten this. Anyway this means it is not obvious enough, something that should be improved.
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 17. aug. kl. 19:00
@Ministr Fida (sorry no Russian Keyboard), I can't say how long it has taken, it is a modification of the Volunteer, a ship I made some years ago, and that I kept updating ever since. The modification itself took some time, but far less than designing the original ship.
QbertTheKiller 15. aug. kl. 8:47
@DRAGINZ and @Naoned as well, there are lights in the med bay, the switch is the yellow switch in the room outside, next to the ROV access door.
brufo 🦃 14. aug. kl. 10:15
vv the only thing id say is that the anchor up/down and crane cable up and down buttons should be toggleable not hold, it gets kind of tedious holding it all the way down to 150m
brufo 🦃 14. aug. kl. 10:02
bro i lifted a whole CONTAINER SHIP (well it was maybe half the size of this thing, but still) from the bottom of the seafloor using the crane on this thing, and then transported it all the way to the docks. all in heavy winds btw. A++ for salvage capabilities.
гуляГЕЙclub 14. aug. kl. 5:12
How long have you been doing this?
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. kl. 16:07
@DRAGNIZ true, I'll note it down for the next update.
DRAGNIZ 11. aug. kl. 19:45
no lights in medbay
Naoned  [ophavsmand] 11. aug. kl. 18:25
@AlexSmartLeg, thanks for the suggestions. When a megalodon is detected by the system you can use the sonar display on the big monitor in front of the copilot's seat to find it, it will be corresponding to a very big blue dot (the alarm is triggered by sonar, so no risk not to see it on the monitor). Regarding the balancing of the ship, I also thought that it could be the cause for the eng2 heating faster, so I tried to rebalance the ship as well as I could, and included it in the latest update.
AlexSmartLeg 11. aug. kl. 12:21
Also I think one possible reason why engine 2 is overheating faster that the other engine could be because of the weight distribution.
AlexSmartLeg 11. aug. kl. 12:11
I think it would be helpful if it showed you where the meg. is (if it detects one) on the giant map. screen in the bridge
Flamingofox3056 11. aug. kl. 0:33
Important Note: The back garage door works on low physics, on higher physics it jams for me, dont know why.
Flamingofox3056 10. aug. kl. 22:44
Honestly such a nice vehicle! you did amazing!
