WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUND-
To be detailed, only resprite the basic trapdoor (even exclude womb ones). And the base of it indicates the next floor type while add some little decoration to tell the floor now
Like if it's burning basement now and the next floor is caves/flooded caves. You can make the trapdoor a tunnel-like base with flames/dust (as fire is put out by water)
But that's quite a work as the combinations are so many. Or maybe some code to separate two parts will be easier. Just an idea. You can take it or not
1) trapdoors will indicate, which floor will be next, rather than fit current one.
2) for repentance floors this is already sort of done by "Alt Path Indicators Redux" and
"Proper Alt Trapdoors" mods
