I mean, as cool as this map is, it seems to also be incredibly buggy.

Like, amazing work so far - but portals have a tendency to not always work or to sort of work and then send you falling through the floor.

love the map until i get the portal gun and every time with out fail i fall through the map, id love to try this again once portals are fix, good job on all the other stuff though

For the comments talking about the invisible wall after dropping down by the portal gun, you have to pick up the M1911 on the ground in order to remove the wall and progress

@StanlyHalo, there's a gun you have to pick up at the invisible wall on the ground, you have to pick it up to progress

After falling down the hole when going for the fake portal gun, there's an invisible wall that I can't get past to continue walking. I tried booting up a mod menu and noclipping, but then the next chamber door won't open. Additionally after noclipping past that and the zombies spawning, I can't use any weapons.

Loving this Map, Cant wait till its more updated. it'd be amazing if it ever becomes a polished map. How accurate is is to portal was shocking. And ive played it multiple times on stream.
After i Got to what im assuming is the boss - after getting both cubes and launching myself to the floating gate. But I couldnt find any way of Beating the boss or any way to progress from that point. Didnt seem like one has been implemented yet but i could be wrong.
I have on a number of occasions fell through the map with weird portal collision or at the boss area specifically, but i know youre already aware of that.
Just wanted to say im definitely going to play it as you update it and i think youre doing a great job so far

Amazing what can be done in this engine, I was stunned to see momentum conserved through portals! Haven't been able to complete the map due to falling through the map at numerous points... but I think the challenge of solving the puzzle while evading zombies is entertaining (if not a tad difficult)!

(2) Portals can also just straight up make the player's collision non-existent, sending them though the floor when entering them sometimes. I mean, seriously, in the nicest way possible, did you even properly play-test this? It's a great idea, but damn. I wanna actually play the map, I do, but it's impossible to get far unless you're carefully hugging every single wall and walking over catwalks and by railing at a snails pace.

great idea, beautiful design (for the most part), EXTREMELY poor execution (from a gameplay standpoint). 70% of objects don't actually have solid collision - this includes things like railings (meaning you can fall off the map/into death barriers EVERYWHERE), background props e.g chairs, tables, the generators in the power room (meaning you can x-ray the entire map, which ruins all sense of immersion), all the elevators, etc. Items like the cube don't actually carry through portals on their own, meaning the game can break almost immediately with NO soft-lock prevention. Having zombie speed start out at jogging/running isn't great either, as this ramps up almost immediately and had me facing actual Round 15+ runners on Round 4. It's very easy to get stuck in-between test chambers/areas, moving even slightly in an elevator bugs out the player's collision(?) meaning they can either stay stuck in place permanently, or freeze in place briefly before falling down THROUGH the map and dying.

Crazy wild map bringing one of my favorite games into another favorite games, there are a few things to note. Don't get me wrong, outside of the bugs, this map's got some extreme potential. Just gotta get around a few things. I really hope you make more portal style maps like the Portal Revoution mod or some other portal mod

Maps confusing, but the idea is fantastic. Beyond actually being able to kill zombies, I had no idea where to go, and had to spawn cubes for the buttons at Old Aperature, even then it looked like they didn't do anything at all. I like the idea, but it really needs to be explained further. Had to explore my entire keyboard to figure out how to even pick up cubes

map is super cool but collision is f*cked. died to falling out of the map multiple times thinking there was a barrier, you can walk around a barrier in the hub room without buying it, theres so much rubble on the floor and only some of it is real gets very confusing

portals are bugged af, couldnt get through any of them, some how got out of the intro one, ,but then was stopped by the second one when you go up the elevator, i tried walking, jumping, crouching, proning, sliding, backwards, sidewards, couldnt get through it

Did you even read the maps description?
Also what are you on, obviously with its time constraint and the fact that the map cant make any updates due to the contest holds back what this map will be like.
Its even said that this will be buggy which a lot of great maps can release buggy, even official ones.
Just be patient baka. =n=
Console is enabled so you can use noclip and god command if you fall out of bounds (as a temporary solution whilst waiting for a bug fix).

I havent tried but maybe it does work with mp its just only one person would be able to get the portal gun.

Also its probably better if we wait for the dev's to focus on a patch for any and all bugs that are in the map at the moment.

Now on that note it would be cool if the mp version for this where to have each player have a different portal gun like how Atlas and P-Body have different portal guns to eachother and even Chell, not just that but then there is the Portal gun for Portal Stories: Mel.

Very impressed. havent finished yet but will defenilty keep on trying. Didn't expect to already see so many puzzle elements even with the lazers and all.

For people falling out of map, do a /bind n noclip or any other key.

Terrible map I can't lie, the collision is so bad that i have fallen to my death randomly multiple times when there's supposed to be a wall/barrier.
