The omnificia mod should be coming with demolior enabled on its own afaik; the trait cannot be added to worlds where that is the case

the portal can potentially spawn rather far away from the pod however in some worlds, so it might not be visible from the start

Hmm I guess if you have both the Demolior and Geothermal story trait mod enabled it won't spawn the research portal. :( Amazing mod tho... thx!

Unfortunate I guess. At least I get to experience the 2 plant pack DLC without needing to be on the 2 specific asteroids (ceres/relic) as I really like my current oasisse seed, thanks for the mod!

That's due to the classic starts having odd space biome locations.
The trair has to be fully generic, so its rune to base game+spaced out starts - classic starts get that floaty thing, not fixable

I copied my old oasisse seed and started a new game with the mod. It works fine except that the surface ruin is floating above the regolith area on its own patch of ground. Not a big deal, it just looks kind of funny. Thanks for doing what Klei really should have done by default.

I did some very quick testing by starting several games, and it seems all the classic spaced out starts from verdante to oasisse all have the surface ruin floating above the regolith area on its own patch of ground. Rime and the ones on the left of rime have the lab on the regolith area, with the exception of squelchy which also had the ruin floating above the regolith.

Would it be too much to ask for you to make it work with existing colonies? if one owns the DLC of course.

Oh I see! That's unfortunate... and I don't think Klei'd try to "fix" something like this, since it seems like a "mod problem", yeah? But still, I can imagine it would be a lot of work, I was just looking for an asteroid with every biome since Fuleria isn't up to date. I found a similar mod from the author Henrik, but you can't get every achievement on it. Thank you for your insight though! I'm still really glad we can try the Demolior challenge on any asteroid now!!!

Klei does not sanitize their savegame mixing metrics properly - that causes a crash when a remix setting is suddenly not existing

it is possible to make, but it causes weird side effects I'd rather not deal with (but I havent looked into it too deeply, there might be a way to prevent the issue)

mods adding new biome mixings breaks saving for some reason if the mod is removed; I would rather avoid making such a thing

Hey @Sgt_Imalas, you were able to add the Geothermal Heat Pump and Demolior to all maps as story traits, and on the "Scramble DLCs" tabs, Klei allowed us "force" the new biomes on every asteroid... so I was wondering, do you think it would be possible to make it so that we could force any biome on any asteroid? Like having a "guaranteed" Sandstone Biome on Verdante?

... WHY!? ... I literally started a new save on the 19th on relica just to do the story trait :( ... Why didn't I notice this sooner?!??! ... now I can go back make a new Rime save again and do it there ... thanks a lot for making this I am just annoyed with myself that I didn't notice this the day you added it :|

Its prohibited on relica asteroids (those already have it).
You also need ot have the mod enabled and own prehistoric planet

Hmm actually apparently the achievement is there, it just doesn't show properly up in the list. Like I only see the two normal big achievements if I go to the colony status screen. But if I search for 'blast', the achievement does show up in the list.
