@by free to be honest I don't know. I just added the GeneDef - if there's a trader that generates item pool from those defs then it is possible I guess?

Can this gene be purchased from traders or settlements after the start, or is it only available during character creation?

@Marunath you can also check RIMMSqol mod if it is able to alter the gene in-game without meddling with xml files. I didn't test it tho

@Marunath in the gene xml file there is <blinkIntervalTicks>180</blinkIntervalTicks>. It's in ticks, 60 ticks is around a second or so. So if you set the value to 900 (15*60) you'll get something around 15 seconds cooldown

@望月 the right click does toggle auto blink, you open settings using shift + right click?
Also you can change the cooldowns and distances to your liking, check the comments in the XML file

In version 1.5, the right mouse button cannot change the detailed settings, only to turn on or off automatic teleportation, and the transmitted CD is fixed at 3 seconds.

I think there is one? I'm using the defaults that the framework provides.
Take a look in the xml file there is preBlinkSoundDefs and postBlinkSoundDefs

The only thing lacking in this is the blink sound. I like to hear the sound of the teleportation.

@es0terick Are you adding it with race icon (the one that has hint "view genes") or using xenotype editor (by clicking xenotype name next to the icon)?

If you're using the second one make sure to check "Ignore restrictions" to make the gene visible

I have a problem, I use the JumpLifter mod, it works fine, but your AutoBlinkGene gene is not listed when I try to add it through the character editor. All additional mods are installed

@Atreidi I am not the author of AutoBlink and I doubt that a gene will be added to the framework as it would defeat its purpose of being a framework

@Kuberr I think CE should be ok? Didn't test it but this one only teleports pawns it doesn't change weapons or materials etc

@Sumatris good idea; I've updated the fluff text to be more in line with other archo genes

If I may, though, could you please bring the gene description more in line with the other archo genes? The current text just sounds very meta and counter-immersive. Maybe something like "Carriers of this gene have a direct link to a distant archotech that they can utilize to step outside the bounds of normal spacetime, enabling them to cover distances of several hundred meters almost instantaneously."

@Robux minor not sure, I've never added psycasts so maybe? On other hand I'm not sure how it would work as autoblink is not costing anything like focus or heat

@StockSounds yeah; the naming may not be the most fortunate here but I wanted to keep it close to original AutoBlink framework
