Though you should also specify that it also replaces the bullet impact sounds and the laser sight upgrade sound.
I hate when mod authors don't mention everything that their mod replaces and thus we find it the hard way.

I think, yeah
mod priority... prioritizes what is above, in the list of addons. if this mod is above whatever addon you got, it will work.
check out addonlist.txt in your left4dead2 folder. you can move this mod to the very top, and it will work over all else.
you can move this addon from the local files' "workshop" folder to just "addons" folder for extra convenience.
