One question I do have, though - is the borders. I feel like it makes it hard to distinguish between my domain, realm, and other rulers. Are there some settings I can modify/files I can edit? Great, great, great mod.
VERY impressive. Please keep going down this road! Bodies of water is an obvious next step. A mod that brings portraits more in line with this artistic direction would give us an entirely new game.
As for people asking about adding rivers and seas back in. I have a temp solution...
In this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3497178264\gfx\map\terrain
Blacken out the GH_chasms.png and replace the heightmap & rivers files in map_data with the ones from the vanilla game folder.
Seas don't seemingly take the color of the watercolor file strongly enough though
