This works and is a cool mod to use. Though, this is definitely a temporary shelter, good for the homeless / nomad roleplay and not meant to be treated like a permanent base. Because those stuff you build in the ruins may disappear during a hard load from game launch, especially if you tweak the load order of mods (include install new mods).

So don't save your meitou in squatted storage, exit the game, then reload back expecting the stuff to be reliably there 100%. Think of it as other squatters stealing your stuff while you are not around. Peak immersion!

1400 hours in this game and I wasn't aware that you could put items in un-owned buildings. Cool stuff
