@SilentStorm It comes in yaml format, so u can just go in the steam workshopfolder for the mod and edit the yaml

Nova, no modder can forsee how the game changes, and how mods interact with each other. The laser works fine, if u follow regular gameplay. From what i can gather from your comments, u skipped parts and and upgrade to an item u didnt have.

Maybe if i get time i can have a look on why its behaving like that, but as its an upgrade u need the base item first. If u do not have it the game does give the item, but the icon isnt 'known'


But from what the comments seem to say :

1 -> get a normal laser
2 -> then make the tunnelling one.

which is completely pointless to have this mod then. If you need the original item unlocked then just use the intended laser.

this mod should just be summon in by a command even doing /give mining laser after hitting enter says it spawned one in but it doesn't

I have to have one in my INV before i install this mod to get it to work. If you try to make one after mod is instaled it don;t show up.

This mod is useless and pointless.

can't summon it in if you download the command mod. also to unlock the mining laser you need to basically be in mid to end game. since the requirements to unlock it is science pack IV.

Having it early on in game is why i downloaded this mod. Now im deleting it

@smoothed I've never built a laser before, and when I tried, I had an empty slot in my inventory. I uninstalled the mod, built the laser, and then reinstalled the mod. The laser currently works, and I can craft more that are visible in my inventory.

This worked fantastic, till it didn't. When I make a lazer I get a blank space in the inventory,I can't pick it up or equip it, but if you put something on top of it it'll switch places then blank where the other stack was

seems like it is a mining laser replacement. cool. works pretty well!

Is this unlocked when you research the mining laser? I cant find it any where on the research tree.

Hi this works great except when trying to mine the scrap from when you accidentally blow up your machines/pipes/whatever. It still takes the old 3 seconds of time to mine them.
