there might be another issue with the map, just placing the treeface shouldnt crash the map on its own. i would recomend making the map from scratch and finding the issue.

i'm only putting the treeface and when i click f5 the game crashes

What are you doing that's crashing the editor?? Placing a tile shouldn't crash on its own, there must be something you are doing to crash.
