This effect is virtually a smoke screen, as you can't see past it.

Some other taunts like Ocean Reef have their taunt particles stuck on the ground instead of moving with the player when using movement taunts like the Boston Boarder or the Victory Lap. If that was the case for the seamines it would look like you're setting up a minefield on the map.
Anyway, still very nice effect though :steamthumbsup:
