10/10 I didn't expect new content and mini-games. it felt like playing halo 2 with the halo 3 engine. 4 player co-op would be fun on this :MCCHELMET:

Pretty decent, gameplay wise. really liked the train section. my only issues are the use of AI generated art for some of the paintings.

That entire train section was probably one of the most badass sequences ive played through in a long time, heavy half life 1 vibes throughout the level as well

This has absolutely got to be the best MCC mod I have played to date. This is so well done, its everything a halo level should be, good enemy encounters, fantastic level design, fun to explore, cool unique vehicles, music utilized perfectly. The rail section in particular was great (felt like i was playing half life again), the scarab fight at the end was incredible. I don't think I can criticize much about this map, even the checkpoints were well managed, which is hard to come by in halo mods.
This was an absolute joy to play, and I would love to see your future work man, please keep it up. And thank you for your work.

Probably the best Halo mod I've played. From having actual level design (something most Halo mods fail to do) to custom vehicles that are actually fun and handle great, to genuine unique set pieces, this is an actual gem.

I really enjoyed the set pieces in this, especially the tram and the entire atrium area! Scarab fight was simple but fun. The sandbox additions were welcome surprises as well

A few suggestions that may help:
- In the first vehicle section, we could use a checkpoint immediately before the first big warthog fight, either after killing the 3 jackals by the road barricades or when we approach the next encounter area where the phantoms come in. Otherwise dying there (hog flip, plasma stick) restarts all the way back at getting the hog.
- The plasma turret warthog was a unique addition but the marine gunners just aren't that sufficient with it. A troop hog might've been better suited for this area
- Seal off the tram tunnel until switch activated. I overlooked the switch on my first run and I hoofed until the cliff. I guess I'm one of those oblivious people who need a nav point or wandering to not be afforded lolol

Each set piece is just a chef's kiss perfect little slice of old school shooters without feeling outdated. When my only complaints are it needs a little polish, and I want more, that's a seriously good sign. This is exactly why Halo mods exist

I got a bit lost on the tram section, I didn't realize I needed to activate the tram and walked all the way to the end of the tunnel a few times before I saw the terminal prompt after a checkpoint revert. Other than that, loved it.

The hidden auto turret outside the base is hostile. I deployed it and got killed buy it. I'm assuming you added the multiplayer version of the auto turret.

This is one of the most unique custom levels I have played in recent memory. while it lacks in quality it makes up for it with really interesting mechanics I enjoyed the time spent playing though this mod. the elevator fight was entertaining the tram ride was a really cool concept and it worked way better than I thought it would in fact I even managed to stock up on supplies on the tram just by swapping weapons/equipment to move them on the tram to better prepare for fights ahead all of the vehicles felt new and original the plasma turret warthog was cool and the warthog tank hybrid was awesome I have played this campaign on legendary on my first playthrough for a little challenge and it was worth it. The only complaints I would have is the lack of music and ambiance and the npcs are don't do anything while in a vehicle other than that I give this mod a 8.5/10

i gotta say i really liked this. the design was great. it could use more ambiance or music and maybe a wee bit lower volume on the voiceover but otherwise it was fantastic. kind of reminded me of half life in sections.

-More checkpoints, and checkpoints don't give up trying to save. So it's a little random where you get a checkpoint but you get more of them. Hopefully you don't get soft-locked.
-Subway floor now less slippery
-A little less enemies here and there
-Other minor things like some more equipment in the park.

I wasn't feeling it at first, but eventually it got spectacular. I hate the use of AI art, but the level itself is probably the best Halo 3 experience I've ever had in terms of the base gameplay and certainly in terms of level design. Superb, very Half-Life, great setpieces, great combat encounters. Largely great!

Fav custom campaign so far, but simultaneously never thought I'd be seeing AI art in a game that's over 18 years old now, it's kinda weird but I appreciate the touch of trying to add some paintings into the game. Fortunately never really got lost, so that was a plus. Legendary was challenging but rewarding.

Exceptional mod! Usually a great mod might have 1 unique, innovative thing I've never seen done before. This mod had 3! I won't spoil them. Only criticism I have is the environment art and textures. I could be wrong, but a higher res street texture could go a long way. Length of the mod is seriously impressive too, has the gameplay of at least 2 regular Halo 3 missions in one. Great work and please make more!

Not bad but are checkpoints in this broken? I got sent back after entering the tunnel to the start of the first vehicle section. dunno if its me or the game or what but usually when all the enemies are gone you get a checkpoint so I'm confused.

So I played on heroic and it played very well. The 3D art wasn't the best, but the level and encounter design was on point! Nowadays I usually fall asleep playing halo 3's official levels since I've played them so many times. However, I never once was bored at any point during this campaign. Those encounters were great and the arenas were these fights took place in were fun to play in. I seriously enjoyed ever creative encounter.

Seriously, the raw game play was VERY good.

Keep it up dude. I look forward to your next mission!

On replaying it I noticed that the Marines have a habit of running ahead of Chief in combat encounters and getting into melee range of enemies. Dunno if it's intentional or not but it leads to a lot of otherwise avoidable deaths... for them.

'Light resistance' apparently means more Covenant than High Charity. The facility really put me in mind of Black Mesa with the enormous underground sections and desert outdoors. It's got a nice vibe to it. Areas are probably a bit too big and the encounters have a few too many monster closets but these are minor gripes with an otherwise very solid campaign level.

A really cool and surprisingly lengthy mission, I love the encounter variety on display here. Definitely one of my favorite fully custom missions so far. I also like that the Marines can reasonably stay alive for most of the mission, so it's fun to give them good weapons and fight alongside them to the end.

My only issue is that some of the checkpoints are pretty far apart so I can die and get sent back like 10 minutes, like the garage with the Hunters that open one by one

I've got an update almost ready that touches up a couple things like the brutes not using their red plasma rifles and stuff slipping to the back of the subway. Should be up on monday or tuesday probably since I'm away this weekend.

The forklift is super cool but the fusion coil and other things on pallets way too easily fall off. At least make a checkpoint after each item successfully placed in.

3. Right when you get off of the moving platform, the hostage marines aren't seemingly able to free themselves until you get close to the next enemy encounter. This makes it nearly impossible for strategic equipment-swapping with the marines before the next firefight. I would recommend freeing the marines as soon as the player steps off of the platform.
4. On the big elevator, not all of the marines get on the elevator until it starts going down. Eventually, they will jump down when the elevator gets low enough. This can become an issue if marines are driving a vehicle like the warthog and decide not to immediately enter the elevator.
5. I recommend touching up the scarab arena at the end a bit. The setup is really cool since you are fighting a scarab uphill, however taking down the scarab is pretty easy since at that point you are likely equipped with some heavy vehicles.

I've played this a few times already because I've had a lot of fun with it. Just to give some constructive criticism, there are a few things I think would help getting touched up:
1. At the start, if you get the warthog, the rest of the marines just follow on foot and ignore the mongoose. This isn't too big of a deal, because you can go in and clear the big enemies and later the marines on foot can clear the stragglers when they catch up.
2. On the moving platform, power-ups like weapons and equipment slide to the back of the platform while it's moving, which can make resource management difficult during that section.
