Never before have I had such mixed feelings about any cosmetic.
On one hand, I Love it; as it dose what any cosmetic should aspire to be. On the other hand I Hate it; because Where it is completely negates what are Suppose to be benefits! But I also don't want to discourage/♥♥♥♥ on it because more of this needs to be made and -AUGH!

I think the pants are fine, though I don't think it would be a bad idea for them to have a second style that brings them closer to his usual pant colour.

I like this set

But I genuinely believe it should be one whole cosmetic, rather than as a 2 separate piece submission, the pants really just don't feel like they bring much to the table individually

Best make a 3rd submission imo and make the pants and top as a one piece, similar to the suit sets spy gets where its a two piece combined into one cosmetic

It's been said already here but, pants should stick closer to the character's original pallet. It removes variety from Engi's look making it more boring.

well yes i saw yours earlier (very nice btw) but you kinda have to choose between detail/quality and size when it comes to this sort of thing. both submissions are good in their own way!

there is enough triangles, my one combines both lol
not trying to say that makes it better though, this may be better for loadout potential but yeah its hard to find anything to work well with it (even for mine)

Making a darker team-colored style (still red and blue) might be a worthy alternative when not using with the Crude Suit.

I agree with Meatwad to some extent. I think the pants look fine if combined with this set's Crude Suit, but not elsewhere. I don't think there's enough triangles to make both items as one model?

I just don't think the pants work here. Making a normally dark region just plain team color is offputting and strange. It's dark for a reason.

very nice, very clean 2-piece set (idk what a third could be; engi’s default hard hat looks pretty good with it ngl)
i wasn’t convinced on this thing being separated from the shirt (because of valve’s limitations), but… those first few loadouts are awesome!
i like it :)
