HI, so I'm having a graphical bug during battles, the models and/or textures of the Trench Raiders bug out and also bug out the models and textures of the other units in my army. Elspeth's dragon looks like a Gmod model trying to go through the ground, some other unit's textures fly all over the place, but it's only when I have the trench raiders and another unit in frame. When I look at a different unit by itself they're completely fine.

You want building_effects_junctions_tables for the cap increase per building or main_units_tables if you want to change the initial unit cap or remove it entirely (set it to -1 for no cap).
I think it would be relatively easy to lock unit recruitment behind tech nodes, but it wasn't something I wanted to commit to on this build.

Works with the patch, very nice, what table am I looking for in the pak manager to increase the unit cap to +2 per building instead of +1?

Crashing Issue Update
With the help of Gato I've narrowed the issue down to this mod now being reliant on my Elspeth Patch. For now using that in addition to this mod is the recommended fix, but I am also working on a fix which will hopefully allow y'all to play this mod without needing the Patch or any Elspeth content.

No idea. I can't replicate it and nobody has provided information that hunted down a cause. I tried disabling anything related to Thrones of Decay, but folks still reported crashing.

That said, they work in battle mode perfectly fine, but recruiting them in campaign is impossible. Which is a pity, from battle mode I can tell they are absolutely baller

I was actually just gonna provide more info, the update did not fix the crash issue. So whatever is happening it is independent of that.

Also, since it is very similar, it might be something to do with both of your mods, so that should limit the search space quite a lot.

It also crashes for me, in the same way your other mod crashes actually. it gets to the point it wants to add them to the army and crashes instead

Alright, I think I've removed all references to Thrones of Decay content in the mod. If anyone who previously suffered crashes could let me know if they no longer CTD I'd appreciate it.

You might be onto something there, I did change the unit models to use assets from Thrones of Decay. I'll do some more thorough testing this weekend once I'm off work, for now I'm sorry the update caused issues for y'all and appreciate everyone reporting it.

Also CTDs for me on a clean install, even with only this and twm enabled. Strange that it's working on your end, maybe when you changed it from the original you accidentally gave it DLC requirements? I don't have any twh3 dlc.

In any case, since it looks like you're a new modder, would you mind uploading an updated original version and your version with your changes separately?

what order do you have this mod? having similar issue that the game crashed right away with no error. i tried it both directly before and after the main mod as well as before the submods and crashed for all 3

This isn't a problem I'm having (same build, no special dev build for me this time) and with a lot more mods enabled. If you haven't already, try adding Mixus Unlocker and/or verifying your game files. Thanks for the feedback, if you get any more specifics on a cause for this let me know so I can try and get it resolved soon.

Same problem as Amidarya. Even with just base mod and this loaded, instant crash. Thank you again for bringing this mod back :)

Unsure of what specifically you changed with today's update, but it seems to cause my game to crash without an error. This mod is the only one to have updated between the last time I played and was able to launch game after disabling. Maybe with the changes in recruit mechanics, it now conflicts with something it previously didn't?
I will try playing around with load order since that might solve it, but if you have any clues please let me know. I only have a memdump to guess at what's happening.

Take your time my man, you did a good job, also I'd recomment you if you add those SMG guys I'd like you to use STG44 for them instead, I'd like to use an assault rifles unit and please make them walk and shoot.

@Gato My main project right now is another mod, but I can confirm that something like an SMG unit is also in the works in a test build of Morr Brigades. I can't say when that will be fully added to the mod since that mostly depends on how long my other project takes, but there is an update in the works with changes to how the mod functions and the units in it.

Not any I don't think at least considering they only add new units to the other factions not the empire, i tried subscribing to the scrap mod you mentioned in the desc which worked for a while before the save file got corrupted, but seems to work now after verifying the integrify of the game files

@continental are you using any other mods that might be causing a conflict and have you tried verifying your game files through Steam? That is not a problem I've seen happen before so I'm not really sure what's causing it.

@Tiggy Skibbles - No plans beyond getting the mod working at the moment. Like I said, this is my first ever modding project and I barely understand how Elman36 got things this far so I'm a ways off from being able to build out whole new units. That said, now that I have some idea of what I'm doing.... maybe.
