@Special.exe now that sealifter is no longer needed, I changed the "Ford (No Sealifter)" version to "Ford (Empty)" version

maybe a bad request but could you get rid of the aircraft on deck for the non sealifter version? would be nice for some custom airwings and also the clean deck looks better imo

At the starboard quarter, the F-35C and E-2D are clipping through each other.

The F-35s on the deck are white, the textures are invisible. What could be causing this? Is there a fix for this?

Yes, I learned some basic texture techniques that helped in removing some submodels too so hopefully it runs a bit better now also. Glad it’s working for you now.

It's actually not the SEAD hornet that causes this. If you try to have more than 2 types of aircraft departing at once then all of the aircraft will stop what they're doing and they'll just spin in place. I've recreated the issue more than a couple of times now. If you try to send an E2, F18E, and an F18F to takeoff all at once it'll break the carrier. An update to fix this would be awesome. The only way around it is to use the debug menu to delete and replace the carrier.

Seems like Murder Hornet (SEAD specifically) causes the aircraft carrier non-functional.

This mod works fine until I began to launch the Murder Hornet SEAD aircraft. :NATO:

Not at present, I think the issue is any missions that use Ford will break if I change the associated F-35 since they have different names, weapons, etc.

It still works for me. No crashes or anything.

The only downside is that my game freezes for a minute when trying to spawn the carrier, but it is fine after that. :NATO:

Yeah still not working, I moved all the gerald ford mods up got rid of the extra F18 and f35 mods and its still crashing. The loading bar will say Loading complete loading mission, then it will go to like 80% then its like the game Alt-f4 its just shuts down instantly. Im gonna try removing all mods except this and try again.

Yeah its worked for me before and yeah all 3 versions crash for me. I do have other F35 mods let me get rid of them and move the Gerald R Ford up and see if that works.

@DocRoe are all 3 versions of the ship crashing? Did it ever work for you? I haven't updated the mod recently so if it worked before and not now, perhaps you have a conflict (a different F-35 mod maybe)? Try moving the mod higher in your load order. I have a clean copy of the game on a different PC and it works fine for me.

@Nick, make sure to have Anchor Chain properly installed, I had a similar problem, but was able to fix it, there are a couple more things to do besides downloading the files via Steam.

@mobius, I moved the recovery station to elevator 3 so simultaneous takeoff/landings should be working now. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Small suggestion: You should remove the heli near the port side elevator and make landing planes use it instead of the first starboard elevator, that way you could launch and recover planes simultaneously (which is one of the main raison d'être of angled decks)

Hey @Mundorf and geographyRyan, the F-18 mod has a high polygon count so it makes the
loading slow. Sometimes it looks like it's frozen but if you give it a minute, it loads.

I would say maybe check your Anchor Chain and Sea Lifter. I just completed a rather long mission in witch I switched out the Nimitz with the Ford and I had no problem. I dose take a little time to load though. It can take as long two to three minutes to load in the encyclopedia.

Im trying to put the f35 mod into your flight deck but i cant seem to work I insterted this
usaf-f35=Squadron1,8
inbetween the growler and 18F squadrons but it dosnt work if you could let me know if I can or how to fix this
