This is beyond embarrassing :steamsad: i didnt override the files inbound for update correctly, so our version of the mod does not match. i uploaded the mod again with the most advance version so far. should work on 114 as well

its very weird. i am at 114 and i can not replicate the error your got PlayOnWords, By your logs i can see that the mod somehow "thinks" you are still play on A90 and this cause a conflict, but i can not replicate this error on my end.

Hmm, yeah also not able to get it to activate on .114, I honestly didn't check when it was still on .111

I tried unsubscribing, deleting the files, and resubscribing, in case it 's the bad mod file system causing the issue, but no fix.

Update: i see now that i can choose beta version in the properties to play non-official version of the game. and i am able de-compile the game code

Goodnews: I can see meaningful additional complexity to for the hate management. It felt too simple and now there is something more about it

Badnews: To make a new version for that, i will need to put some research and development because of the system completely different. so i can not promise an update soon

However: You can still play the game on the official current early access version (0.4.90A) by
1. Clicking right mouse key on the game on steam library
2. Select Beta Participation
3. Select None

For 0.4.108 & 0.4.109 i might able to begin development latter this week

The version of the game is probably the culprit. however how come you have such version of the game. On my steam library its 0.4.90A. Its doesnt appear at the patch list (https://steamdb.info/app/1176470/patchnotes/) .

I have the same version of the game and mod manager as Captshades, but not the same mods. I get the same error just on start up of the game.

Hello. I am sorry to write it with delay, i got IRL surprises and got too busy

But i took some time to sit on the issue. I update my utility mod manager to 0.32.4.0 and test on the game version 0.4.90A and surprisingly the mod did works well. i could not re-create any errors.

I have some questions:
what game version you run?
do you run more mods that require the utility mod manager and if so what are they?
did this mod did work in the past before some update in game/untiity manager?

Ive got 0 hate with a compatible faction (HF vs Resist), but cant make a NAP...so its like the UI says they Tolerate me but theyre still behaving like they hate me (attacking my ships, contesting control points, detaining and assassinating my agents, public order and unrest actions).

Ive gone outta my way to be nice to them and...Just cant get a NAP, like the option doesnt appear on the trade screen for me to even offer.

Right, the hate against Servants and Protectorates are expected. But there's no decay for the anti-alien factions; instead, they are gaining, even though I haven't touched any of their stuff for like 5+ years.

correction:
what i said about doomed relationship true only for the servants and protectors, because of more then 150 hate. hate below 30 is not much of a problem

Thank you for the log! yes the hate should decaying, as long you don't do them any harm, that also means tolerate hostilities action from them without retaliation, however must be said you screw with them that much the only reasonable way to make pace with them is indeed edit the save game or use cheat engine, or showing them with gifts, because the passive declining is a bit slow

by the logs i can tell most action targeted the initiative and some the servants. so the mod seems to be working yay! thus the other human ai factions will gather passive hate against the initiative and servants and passively decline hate against you (the academy)

I went into the save and set the hate for HF, Initiative, and Resistance to 0. I am Academy. There is passive hate from those 3 factions, while Exodus doesn't care much.
From what I can tell, the pro-aliens factions don't have increasing hate - but obviously I screwed with them a lot (should their hate be decaying?).

hmm it does display 1.1.2 on my end, but i begin to realize i might edited it wrong when uploading it. its does work even with the latest version of the dev, so i dont think the problem there.

the mod have a debug mod, so we might use it. to enable the debug mod make a file with the exact path "C:\Temp\NoMoreJealousy.txt" and only then run the game. you can then disable debug mod by deleting this txt file. tell me what you see there

I don't know why the image fails. It works for me. Try removing the .jpeg and see if that helps.

Yes, this mod used to work for me on the main branch. But ever since the new experimental branch, it stopped working. It might have something to do with the newer jealousy changes and ideology distance the devs worked on; I.e. virtually impossible to get NAPs, according to some discussions, unless you're behind.

I wonder if the latest experimental version added additional variables for jealousy to generate hate.

I had ~150 to their 8 at one point. But they didn't break NAP and started getting hate until I reached Jupiter, while they were stuck on a base metal shortage.

Yes, it is checked. Though the version I have appears to be 1.0.1. Is that the wrong version? According to your image it should be 1.1.2 by now. Do I need to unsubscribe and resubscribe for it to update?

It seems to not be working for me anymore...? I.e. as Academy, I'm getting passive hate gain from HF and Resistance. Granted I'm at like 280 MC to their 40. But I haven't done anything to them for a while and they broke NAP. I checked in the save file and they are gaining hate.

I haven't finished any 15k+ Story research, yet.

Might this be due to some new update changes?

Hey! Does this only affect passive hate gain, or does it actually remove the highest fractional ownership thing. I notice I'm at tolerant with other AI, but I cannot seem to get it higher and they refuse to offer NAPs.

that is 100% a thing in vanilla. agreements break any time they hate you more this minute than they did last minute, and something that creates competition is finishing your story missions.

perhaps you finished a story mission that made a big impact and they hell naw'd that. Again Academy is pro-alien even if not subserviant to them, and they would definitely be like, resistance mission objectives = bad.

Did the HF targeted you as the resistance? did they decay relationship with you as time go? if so something unexpected happens. i do not know well enough about intel agreements yet, it still new feature for me. maybe there is an event trigger or something with your advancement to end goal (story projects) that cause it

maybe because the game considers them pro alien your anti alien actions irked them? was it near an event that developed alien hate?

it could also have been an accident like you both went to purge the same country, and their agent's action came after yours, so they purged you, unintentionally breaking the nap.

Playing Resistance i was able to get early NAP/Intel sharing agreements with HF, Academy, Exodus, and Initiative. However as i got stronger (took full US), Academy broke NAP.Intel sharing. The mod shows active, not sure why they broke agreement, when ive never taken any aggressive action towards Academy.

hi nfelddav, you can install it the normal way, that should work. just make sure you can see the mod in the UMM window that appear when opening the game, just like the screenshot i attached
