its black mesa EAST, its not actually black mesa, the resistance just called it that because most people there are from black mesa i guess. black mesa is still in new mexico and ravenholm is still in eastern europe

why the hell is black mesa next to ravenholm?

i like this map, but i wished it to be the full one. Like the full ravenholm map but the blood and zombies are removed and its day time. If you dont want to then okay

Wish Valve would move on with HL3 I think a Crossover with Portal's Chell & Opposing Forces Adrian Shepard. The Resistance needs a way to get pass the Combine Advisors Telepathic Powers. They're just as Powerful as Psycho Mantis as a Kid he was the reason why Metal Gear Sahelanthropus was able to function without a human Pilot or AI Control. If there was a way to keep the Gravity Gun as a Dark Energy Field Manipulator without its power being drained and if Gordon had his Long Jump Module as well as the Weapons he used at Black Mesa the Resistance had more of a chance.

A good question. I suppose that just shows the flaws with the Combine in general. Instead of treating humanity fairly, they were practically enslaved to do the Combines bidding, while Breen was at the forefront.

In Breen's mind, him making Earth surrender must've been the better outcome, otherwise the Combine would have wiped humanity out, drained the Earth of its resources, and moved on.

Breens point of view is understandable but at the same time? I imagine some people would've rather just been wiped out instead of enslaved.

It must've been a great place to live before the Combine Bombarded the Town with Headcrab Canisters. Why did the Combine have to make Humanity obsolete by turning them into mindless, emotionless drones, with no free will to think or act for themselves? If Dr. Breen was smart he knew there wouldn't be any resistance if they were fairly treated with hospitality as he was in the life of luxury.

Father Grigori is my personal favorite Half-Life character, along with the entire Ravenholm section. He is badass indeed.
