If you mean that you wanna walk on the sand, then you can't. The desert around is a skybox. Its a small part of the map which visually looks bigger. I cannot make what you want as i cant place brushes out of the grid (last screenshot.)

@tunadude1 hammer.exe is free and quite simple to use. You need to have HL2 or CSS or at least TF2 so you will be able to make map for these games. For HL2 (which i use to make maps for gmod) its located in steamapps/common/Half-Life 2/bin/hammer.exe

wasn't there a map portal mod! that if you hit the end it transports you back to the other side! ive seen this on race map's before. but the problem with it is that it lagg's a bit and can even crash the game!

@UbErZ Andrew900460 I didnt have time to check all the existing drag racing maps. I needed a map and i made it. I've managed to make the track a bit longer.
Look at the last screnshot. Anyway, i admit that your map has more functions. And it still can be upgraded to be even better. (If i were you, i would add a skybox, replace tf2 props with hl2 props and improve some brush elements. you can also try using displacement). Upgrade it and it will be the probably best gmod drag racing map ever created. Good luck mate!

Nice map, but, if you wanted effect for walking, play "It's a Long Road" in the background. Then you will feel truly like John Rambo.

it has everything this map has, it's length is as long as source can make it, plus it has an operatable start light and end lights to show who won if it was a close race.
