Due to the scope of the changes prior saves from pre-0.9.5 will be incompatible and show a save error.
After the update there should be no issues.
I think you'll like the new guns when we are finally able to release them. Some of my older designs that are currently in the mod will also be updated, although I haven't remade any of Sunlight Coven's yet. Perhaps I should look into that next!

Franche designs are your best work (maybe with the exception of the skinnier sniper(?) that is coming next (second column top). Doesn't feel in line with their usually blocky designs.
Sunlight Coven designs are your weakest work here (Exorcist is my favourite gun in the game in terms of looks so maybe i am just being too picky).
Coreward, Church and PlanetBridge are getting in this mod, better looking things then anything they already have in game.
The rest are just on point additions that fit well.

As for time tables, the 0.9.1 beta branch has been launched by the devs with a great deal of retooling and adjustment to weapons as a whole. This is something we've been communicating back and forth with the devs on as they steadily refine on their weapons systems, allowing us even greater flexibility for mods.
Upcoming changes and updates to the mod will be as follows:
1. We'll be updating on all the current roster to rebalance them (where needed) to the new standards of 0.9.1
2. We'll be making some backend changes that fixes an outstanding issue on our docket to have the faction weapons sort alongside the native vanilla faction weapons (coreward with coreward, daydream with daydream etc.)
3. Some of the planned new weapons may make it in this pass. Much of the new weapons steer more on the novel side, requiring either new ammo or firemodes to make their concept come to life.
