Dev is already working on adding their own alien weapon iirc. I also not only have no clue how to make patched but I quit Barotrauma modding probably forever.

@Havel L. Krik: Because by default the gun was made to work with unmodified alien cell code. The override came later in the mods development to make the cell work in all guns, but to do different things.

@kingmagma111: Admittedly making original "Alien" looking weapons were kinda tough and I'm still working on it to make them visually unique but Halo had some solid design choices.

Design choices seem awfully... familiar... on a completely unrelated note, these burning weapons seem like they would be good at dealing with the Flood from that one green guy game...
Looks cool! can't wait to test it out. Do the weapons benefit from talent bonuses relevant to their weapon type?

Maybe, I did have to override the Alien Power Cell to shoot new projectiles and work in all guns.

Nevermind, I was able to find the weapons, but now I've found some issues. Only the pistol seems to be firing projectiles. I don't know if it's a mod conflict.
